“I was shopping at Costco North (50 St) and when I went to grab the bottles of olive oil, the ones behind fell and broke making a huge mess. Emma saw the mess and went to get someone to clean it up. I offered to pay for the broken bottles and Emma said that it wasn’t necessary. She was so kind and so gracious that I became very teary after the unfortunate week I have had with illness in the family. Thank you, Emma, for your kindness and patience. It went a long way and made me feel okay. And to the snarky customer who asked me to go and find someone to clean up my mess, kindness goes a long way especially when you don’t know what people are dealing with. Try practicing it; makes a world of difference!!”
