“I've stopped by this gas station a few times, and EVERY SINGLE TIME I'm greeted by the friendliest staff. I wanted to take a moment to share a few of my experiences here.
On my last visit, an individual was causing quite a ruckus. It was a challenging situation, but I was genuinely impressed by how the staff handled it with professionalism and calmness, keeping the atmosphere comfortable for other customers.
Today, I stopped by to grab a refreshing drink and noticed that some items weren’t labeled with prices. I asked for assistance, and the employee behind the counter was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the products. They quickly helped me identify the prices, and I left feeling very pleased with the experience overall.
Even though the building's exterior can seem a bit intimidating and the neighborhood has its challenges, including the presence of some homeless individuals, this gas station is truly worth the stop for the friendly staff and great service!”
“*UPDATE*I just wanted to give another great part of this store a shoutout! We usually get a couple of candy bags when we are there for $2.50 each. They include an assortment of gummies, other bulk candies, and some marshmallow?. Normally you'd find the marshmallow ones near the bottom of the bag, which with the hot weather it was interesting to try and get them out(eat first so they don't melt on the other candy). Now after a few of these fun times, I had asked the store associate if they could start putting the marshmallow ones closer to the top of the bag. After about a week (as they make the bags up in batches), the new batch had them at the top of the bags.This store and its employees are amazing and actually listen to the customers on reviews/requests like this one.After visiting this location we realized that we had left our keys and our dogs head harness around the corner from the store. Upon calling the store, we asked if they could peek out and see if our forgotten items were still there. They did so promptly, and we are so glad that we got our items back especially given the area of town it is. The star associate that did this awesome deed for us name was Geoffrey. “I'm autistic and a lonely man who came to Canada to be with my wife, in my many years here I've never met a man as kind and open, on the final day of my marriage before my wife broke the news to me I was happy.
It was a nice day and while I normally never leave the house and have been in complete isolation to the outside world for most of my life I felt good enough to walk here and grab some drinks along with some candy for my wife.
He stopped me and told me he liked my jacket and I had a good interaction with him, i never get to experience other people but he was kind and has an open heart for his customers.
I came back a few days later after being beyond broken and not wanting to live anymore I wanted to see the man who provided me my last happy moment in this country, I told him about it and he was nothing but smiles and help he even gave me a free drink for the road.
I never got his name but i have nothing but good things to say about him and i hope he keeps succeeding in life, i know mine wouldn't be the same without him

“My partner and I visit this location a few times a week and I had kind of an unfortunate experience the other day, It was frustrating in the moment, but I brought it to the manager’s attention this morning, and he went above and beyond to make things right—even when we assured him it was okay and that we just wanted to bring it to his attention.

with my card. The card was declined (my bad) and the kind person at the till covered the cost of her slurpy. Huge thank you! I am so grateful. I will pay it forward. “I don't know why this place has such low ratings every time I've gone in I've got nothing but excellent service and last night was even better than usual because I went in and it was almost 11:30 and I was starving and I really wanted a slice of pizza and the two gentlemen working behind the counter I just said oh it's probably too late for you guys to cook me some pizza right and they were like no no problem and when I'm in Calgary I can't even get that kind of service so excellent job guys really appreciate it will be back again going to get a whole pizza next time and hopefully your ratings get better!”

“I gave this 4 stars due to how friendly the employees can be except for Simrat. Every time i come in I have personally had a terrible experience with him alongside most of my friends, and today when i went in to ask for the bathroom key he glared and scoffed and never said a single word. And when i came out and told him to have a great night he rolled his eyes at me. Personally i feel this is a bad look on the store and it should be further looked into as he should not be working in customer service if he is going to be ignorant to paying customers.”
