“I stopped by to pickup some toys for my cats birthday today, and the woman at the till (I wish I had gotten her name) was so friendly and helpful, and even gave me a little sampling of catnip to put in my cats bowl for his birthday dinner. It was my first time visiting as we’ve just purchased in the neighborhood, and I will definitely be going there exclusively from now on! Highly recommend - you don’t get customer service like this anywhere anymore.

“Our first visit was a couple of months ago, and we have been back twice since! What I really appreciate is the knowledge of the staff, especially in the fish room. I was not aware of cycling a tank (we are very new) and the manager took the time to explain how to do it and why. He also said, as we had just set up the tank, that they would not sell us fish yet as the tank needed to complete the cycle. We did buy three plants and they are doing fantastic!My only complaint is that if you are heading there on a weekend, it will be busy and you will have to wait for help. If that is not for you, head over on a weekday.”
“We want to find more common brands of cat food available in Canada. If one brand is out of stock, there will be another option for my cat immediately.
Some may know that cats are highly sensitive and hard to please. If they are in a bad mood or don't like the food, they would rather starve than eat. I remember that when we arrived in Canada after a long flight, because of the jet lag and the different weather, my cats were very down. So we bought some chicken breast to steam for them. I was grateful that after a few days of mixing it with cat food, they adapted day by day.
The staff here really understood cats. We didn't tell her any concerns, but she told us that if we bought cat food and the cats didn't eat it, we could exchange it. We appreciated her helpfulness and kindness.
Because the dry food the cats ate in Hong Kong seems to be rarely available in Canada, we have slowly switched their food (dry food, wet food) before arriving. We also want to find some other styles that are more common in Canada and swap them with those at home. If one of them is out of stock, there is another one that we can continue to eat.
As we all know, cats are highly sensitive and difficult to please creatures. If food does not suit their appetite and they are in a bad mood, they will rather go hungry than eat. (I remember when I first came to Canada, after a more than ten-hour flight, and the time difference and weather were different from those in Hong Kong, they had no appetite at that time, so we went to the supermarket to buy chicken breasts and steamed them for them, and ate them for a few days before mixing them up. Wet food, they will slowly adapt)
The clerk saw us standing in front of the dazzling array of dry food shelves and was distressed, so he took the initiative to tell us that if the cat didn't eat it, we could take it back and replace it. I feel like they are very considerate and understand the cats' habits.”
“i love this place so much, i have bought 4 budgies and 2 white tree frogs from here. who are all thriving, one of the white tree got sick not long after adoption thought but to make up for it by taking him back in short term to take him to the vet for us ( we can not afford exotic vets ). we got him back and he was perfectly fine! all the other animals have been great with no health issues at all, the products there are high quality but somethings there you should stay clear of ( sand perches and other not so good products) but they never put any of that in there tanks of enclosure there! the employees there are great and very helpful. very thankful for the manager there who was patience with the whole frog situation and taking good care of my boy :). would definitely recommend coming here for your pets needs!”

Jessie the employee was above and beyond excellent service with all kinda of suggestions, alternatives and considerations to make before purchasing as well as genuinely just loving playing with my dog Tulley and giving her treats.
