“Peace River is the small town and have 4 Grocery Stores. No Frill has the most variety for Indian/Asian population.Majority of Sale item disappear on very first day. This location do not carry Indian Vegetables. Vegetables like Okra , Eggplant is available in limited quantity and price r high. Walmart carries Methi (fenugreek leaves), Okra is fresh , Indian Bitter Melon (Karela) etc. prices of Haldiram and other brands have gone up. EVEN PC brand drinks r $1.49 /2,l soda. Walmart has brought some prices down when it comes to store brand Soft Drinks. There is Mobil gas station in the plaza.”
“Always my go-to grocery store in every town that has one. Peace River location is easily top 5 in Alberta. If you slalom around looking hungry 30 minutes before closing they’ll point you towards something delicious. Try the smoked salmon, the beef jerky or the cinnamon buns with frosting. Take any of their products hundred of kilometres away in your cooler. Best lunch you’ll ever have.”
