“This Ace Hardware is convenient to me, and the folks who work there are helpful. Over time, I've come to really appreciate the folks who work here, and I much prefer this hardware store to the big box stores.”

“I shopped Mark's Ace Hardware on Ina exclusively...until he opened this one. Almost in my backyard! I wanted to give a 'shout out' to a man, I believe named Jesus, who made a key for me. The key was bent at 90 degrees and he was able to straighten it out in order to make a new key. He very CAREFULLY used a vise to straighten it out. My experience is that most people would not be conscientious enough to care if the key broke. JOB WELL DONE! EDITTED: May 2026 - Went to Mark's ACE HARDWARE once again to have keys made. Was greeted as I walked through the door by a cheerful young lady, Aurora. That set the tone for the trip to the store. Then was greeted by Jesus (See review above) which reminded me of the olden days when store employees got to know there customers! I had an added treat by meeting Lane, who showed great energy in getting my keys made quickly, and demonstrated professionalism beyond his age. Good job, Mark, in hiring these types of people.”

“I met with Jacquie last week because of issues I was having selecting a gray color would work with my remodel. The gray I had originally painted with was appearing purple in just about any lighting situation! She explained why this was happening and suggested changes to lighting as well as showed me grays with more green undertones. Her explanations and suggestions helped me get a color I love!”

“Needed help with replacing a chain for my two small chainsaws and when I called with my request to also have help putting it on was told no problem come on in. Raul not only found and replaced the chain on my small one but even though they didn't have my other chainsaw's chain available, he assisted me with putting on the old chain back on and wrote what chain I would need to order for the second one. I told him I wish some company would set up a class for older women to learn to do home repairs and landscaping. To many are without anyone to help them. Our thanks and appreciation to Raul and Tractor Supply in Catalina.”

“I'm starting to really like this location. Although it's not the closest to my home, I've found that they stock needed items not found at other locations. Couple that with a friendly and knowledgeable staff and you have a win/win that's worth the visit.”

“Another good home depot. The big difference between this one and up north is i can always find someone around to not only tell me what aisle to go to, but to even go with me.”
