“Lovet Pet Health Care was able to see me same morning on a Monday. My big Lab had sprained his rear paw and it had swollen to twice it's normal size. They were able to see me within hours of my call. Kept him for a few hours to take x-rays. There were no fractures, fortunately. Released him with meds. Now 4 days later, he's almost back to normal, swelling is significantly reduced and he can put almost full weight on leg and run like normal. They cared and they helped.”

I will say that my usual request is for Dr Keyser, who is such a pleasure and confidently knowledgeable, experienced and thorough. She genuinely cares about the entirety of the health of each horse. The level of evaluation happening continuously is something I appreciate. She is a little strict on the body fat scale but accurate! (I asked for a review of my dogs and myself- ) ..be careful what you ask for was my lesson because she is very honest! Dr Keyser is always pleasant, patient and helpful and I never feel like I’m don’t have enough time to discuss whatever I need to feel that I’m making an educated decision. What else can I say? You can’t go wrong trusting Chaparal Large animal team ! I couldn’t say that before I was absolutely sure that I have a team and not just another appointment when they arrive.”

“I brought my dog there a couple months ago because they were able to get him in same day (which is rare for vet clinics) and he was in a lot of pain. They took fabulous care of him over the course of a couple weeks, even calling me days in a row to check on him. Both Dr. Erb and Dr. Forrest were friendly, professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable. The vet techs who also spent a whole day with him while he received IV pain meds were fantastic.
