“We just moved to the Scottsdale area from Illinois and I knew I needed a new local vet for general checkups for my dog, but my dog was also having some GI issues and constant soft stools for (probably) months before us moving here which in turn just got worse due to the stress from the move.I had taken my pup to our vet back home before moving here in which I was basically told to just try out different brands/flavors of food and do the "elimination method" to find the cause, and the general fecal sample test in which nothing ever came about - I felt like I was brushed off.I decided to give Scottsdale Animal Healthcare a shot based off of the great Yelp reviews I saw online, and literally from the moment that the receptionist picked up the phone when I called I knew I chose the right place to try. I believe I spoke to Kylie the receptionist who was extremely nice and I felt like she actually cared about my dog when I was explaining my pups situation to her, and I even got a same day appointment that evening.Upon arriving to their facility every single staff was so warm and welcoming, coming out to say hi to my pup and giving her lots of praise/treats. We had nurse Bailee and Dr. Rice, both of whom were AMAZING, and they listened to every single word I said/background of my dog before explaining our options for testing. They both got down to my pup's level and sat down on the floor with her to make her more comfortable as she was a little stressed from the new environment, and they both couldn't have been more friendly and patient with my girl. We received a printed out quote/cost breakdown of the cost that everything would be that they recommended for my pup before asking us for a decision which was great, and we received our results very quickly a few days after our appointment with a thorough breakdown email from Dr. Rice.I would 100% recommend trusting Dr. Rice and the team here with the care of your animals, and will absolutely be a returning client without even attempting to try anywhere else! Thank you to the whole team for making our first visit a great one!”

“I don’t normally write reviews unless I strongly feel the need. This vet clinic was great. I am new to the state and did not have a home vet for my cats. I also had a general concern for my cats before even being a patient that they were able to talk about with me over the phone. I really appreciated that. I then set up an appointment for general wellness and the two girls I had today were so sweet and helpful, it genuinely made me enjoy my time and my cats felt very comfortable. Doctor McBroom and Alexis sat on the floor with them while they did the exam/checkup which made my cats feel more at ease, even with noise coming from other rooms. My Siamese is very skeptical of other people and he even rubbed up on Doctor McBroom which truly shows how comfortable he felt with them on the floor. The girls were very friendly and funny which felt like a breath of fresh air compared to other vets I’ve had. Prices are what you expect for a general checkup, about $75 per cat. Great and genuine advice was offered, and I am glad to have a secure point of contact for all my pets’ needs. Previous vets that I’ve had would focus more on money/selling products and quick in and out time. Highly recommend Grayhawk”

“My dog and I had an excellent experience at this VCA urgent care! All the staff members were so kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The person checking us in was very upfront about the exam fee -- which is on par with all other emergency and urgent care vets in the area -- and the vet concierge provided a clear breakdown of costs once a treatment plan was determined. I was really impressed Dr. Young identified the issue just by hearing what happened, then quickly confirmed with an orthopedic exam (no separate cost from the exam fee). She tailored the treatment plan to my dog's needs (pills instead of liquid medicine) and was so kind and patient with my anxious pup! I'm happy to say he is fully healed with her directions. The facility is super clean with snacks and coffee, and doesn't feel like a sterile vet clinic. I also LOVED the convenience of the virtual waiting room on their website.”

“I'm not going to make this a long review. Dr Brad cares about your animal. He came out of his area to look at my Capone. I can't tell you how many mobile vets I called prior to him that asked for an address before asking what problem I was having with my pet. I understand these mobile vets work in zones. Dr Brad asked what capone was dealing with and after I explained it to him I had an eta of an hour. Unfortunately my Capone had to be put down this morning. Dr Brad once again came out of his zone to make sure Capone was as comfortable in his last minutes as possible. I literally can't say enough to Dr brads character in only a short meeting. With all my heart and my family's heart, thank you for the care and concern you took with capone. It will never be forgotten.”
