Chandler/Gilbert Family YMCA is a welcoming community that offers a variety of programs for children and families. The early learning program is fun and engaging, helping children learn in a playful environment. Kids enjoy participating in sports like volleyball, where they benefit from skill drills and encouragement, and many love attending summer camps and after-school care, making lifelong friends. The camps are fun, include field trips and swimming, and even provide breakfast and lunch. Members appreciate friendly staff, with helpful front desk employees who go out of their way to assist. However, some families note issues with communication, especially regarding sports teams and schedules, which can cause frustration. Despite this, the overall experience is positive, and many families feel the YMCA is like an extended family that cares about their children. The YMCA offers a supportive environment where children can learn, play, and grow, making it a valued part of the community.
Poor staff communication amd safety for clients. Family friendly though.

My daughter takes volleyball classes here and the classes are significant cheaper than normal club volleyball and the coaches are very supportive, encouraging, and do various skill strengthening drills. My daughter loves going to practice every week!
