I have been a CM customer for 20+ years. I purchased 2 CM 7500 DVRs. They were the BEST DVR's ever made. But CM stopped supporting them after a few years and they became worthless! They then came up with the CM 7600 DVR and I bought 2 thinking they would be better. These were junk compaired to the 7500. When does a company actually make a product worse? They enterred into some agreemet with Google to support the Guide. Without a Guide, a DVR is worthless!In the past week Google has stopped supporting the guide and now my 2 CM 7600 are WORTHLESS. (see pics of my guide data this morning. It use to go out 14 days now maybe 4 hours and only the major networks) They offerred me a discount on a $400 TIVO DVr. What makes you think I have ANY trust in you CM? You have a lack of corporate ethics and would not do business with you ever again. Consider this before you buy anthing from CM! This company does not support their customers!

See update below ...FYI - When reading bad reviews, keep in mind that they probably don't know how to correctly install coax, fittings, etc. One poorly cut fitting, kinked wire, staple thru the wire, backwards splitter, etc will kill the whole install.I Recently went to the Chandler showroom and purchased an Omni+ antenna, amp, 5G filter and TiVo Edge. I installed everything (previous CATV installer) and plugged in the amp. Before plugging into the TiVo did a channel search and 92 channels found. Every channel is solid and no tiling. I would recommend using these guys for equipment. And, if you don't know how to install - please hire someone who does.UPDATE: 12/2022 - re: TiVo EdgeI still love my antenna and TiVo edge 2 years in. However, the Edge has had issues staying locked on to the WiFi and when it loses connection some TiVo features deactivate. Every time I got tech support help, they said "do a hard reset". And, that worked every time. So, finally I just used a $10 lamp timer and it shuts it down for 15 minutes every day at 3am and no more issues! I would lower my star rating to 4 - but Channel Master is not the TiVo manufacturer.

I visited your facility on Germann Rd in Chandler, AZ asking advise on an antenna that would work in my attic. We are located in south Chandler, 18 miles away from South Mtn and are receiving 100 perfectly clear channels using the Channel Master model CM-1776.We had to install the antenna in the attic due to HOA rules and having a 2 story house next door which would have prevented us from effectively installing the antenna on the house in the back.

If you can't read the whole thing here is the MEAT of this Channel Master review. Channel master and their representative Adam have been on top of the order since minute one. I exchanged several emails over the next 2 or 3 days concerning some information I needed to prepare for the delivery and installation. The replies were all very quick and as detailed as I had hoped. In fact almost as if Adam was waiting for my emails ,seriously. Keeping in mind it was coming from it's factory in Arizona, ....the big ITEM ticket.....it was scheduled to be delivered on 4/5/2011. It will arrive on 4/1/2022 . Free shipping, 4 days early...and even the best price. Nothing short of Phenomenal customer support . Thanks Adam, Thanks Channel Master NOW THE REST OF THE STORY In my quest to obtain a 40 ' channel Master Telescoping Mast for my cell phone antenna, locating a source was easy. Everyone sell it. Locating a source where the cost of shipping was more than the mast cost, also easy. Everyone seemed they could get it to me for about $200 to $300 in shipping. Now the mast is double the cost. Finding a source where I could save $$ on the shipping was, it turned out, not so easy . I contacted Channel Master directly by email and explained my delima. Even that I could drive to several locations to make a pick up due to my business. out to about 300 miles. You see the package is almost a 100 inches in length and I would guess 75 to 100#. shipping , for me,was the death sentence to obtain this mast. . Adam (channel master REP.) replied with several suggestions for pick up and one for shipping that might fit my needs.and WALMART for shipping. The recommendation was on the MARK! ...Walmart it was FREE./ I ordered. TimD.

I got the CM-4228 8 bay antenna. Good build quality. You can see the antenna on the right side of my tower about 3/4 up (45 ft off the ground) facing South. I added Black UV tie wraps to keep birds off. Im getting all the channels that I expected plus KGUN out of Tucson (I'm in Phoenix). All signals were of sufficient strength to provide a great picture.

UPDATE (8/23/21): Pretty soon after my review, a representative reached out to me via Yelp to apologize and rectify the situation. They said they corrected the original error and also made an offer in hopes of repairing trust. Soon I should receive the antenna I was looking for and think I'll be happy with it since the product reviews are so good. I really appreciate the effort to make things right and am convinced to start again with a clean slate. Stuff happens, there's no avoiding it. The business response though can make all the difference and has in this case.ORIGINAL: A couple days ago I drove about half an hour to get to the Chandler location. I wanted to buy the Flatenna 35 and save on the shipping cost. Wish I could comment on the customer service but I didn't get any. I walked in to an empty store and saw the tablet with a sign under saying someone will be with me shortly after I sign in. Bothers me not being greeted by a person in the first place, but fair enough. I give my information and sign in, and get a confirmation saying again, someone will be out to see me shortly. I wait around, but no one comes. I open and close the door several times to "ring the doorbell" but that does no good. My last resort was to walk around to the other side "private entrance" thinking maybe I got the wrong place. I was just pointed back to the same empty shop I came from though. Really thought this would just be a 5 min. stop but it was just a huge waste of my time. So disappointing.

Very happy with Channel Master products. We have been using the antenna and DVR for over ten years now with no problems. Great customer support and always willing to answer all your questions. I recommended Channel Master to all my friends, family and customers. It's so nice to be able to cut the cord and Channel Master has you covered.

Never have owned a device that has so many kinks, works one day, not the next, finally now, I just use two remotes just to get sound consistently. One day it records a show, the next recording comes up recording failed? No idea why? I can not recommend this device.

Called channel masters, very helpful, give me product choice by my zip code, recommended cm2020 digital advantage tv antenna paired with cm7777v3 titan 2 preamplifier, outstanding quality, easy installation, picking up more channels with much better quality, seriously much better than expected, picture quality is surprising, highly recommended for service and quality of product

Cut the cord over winter break and purchased a DVR and Antenna from Channel Master. Quick shipping, easy, got my product in 2 days. Had an issue going through the process of set up, but Tom in customer service helped me set it up quickly. No issues in the first couple weeks and am recommending this solution to all my friends and family.

I have owned and used a channel master DVD+ for many years. It has been an excellent product. I recently purchased a new model CM7600. It functions as advertised , another excellent product.I moved the old unit creating some problems with it. I called the company. A very patient company technician gave me solutions to the problem and it was again operational again in no time. This is an excellent product supported by very good people.
