“Sun valley hope it’s a great place to take your four legged family members. I first dealt with them when I had to take my 13yr old dog to be helped to go to rest asleep , the vet and staff gave me time to be with him while he fell asleep and even cried with me. They made a paw print for my family to remember him by. I just took my other 2 ,4 legged kids to get vaccinated and they called me 24 hours later just to check in on them to make sure they were doing fine after the vaccines. Sun valley hope hospital will be our place to go for all of our 4 legged kids needs. P.S. they are budget friendly and inexpensive as well as loving our 4 legged children.”

“We have been taking our pets to this facility since the doors opened in the early ‘90s, and we will continue to do so because the doctors and staff are committed to doing their best to preserve the health and well being of their “patients”.
Here you will find professional, competent, and empathetic staff members.
They are the best in our opinion!”

“Love this place! Everyone is friendly, from the front desk to the vet techs! Dr Silkman is our favorite. They never pressure me into buying services my pet doesn't need at that time, however they are always putting the care of my pets first. They even took care of my little bearded dragon when she passed and showed such care and concern for me. I recommend them to everyone!”

“Everyone at Sunburst has been amazing since I started bringing my puppy there earlier this year. No complaints whatsoever, always a great visit.

This morning, my guy had to be rushed in due to anaphylactic shock (ant bites!) and the staff was incredible! I was so afraid that my sweet baby boy wasn’t going to make it, but they took such great care of him and I couldn’t be more thankful. We are clients for life! Everton says thank you, Sunburst!! ?”

“Every single person at Arrowhead Ranch Veterinary Hospital treated me and my sneezing kitten with as much respect as they would more dire cases. I have now established myself as a Helicopter Mom with this clinic, and that’s ok with me because I believe everybody there is interested in the outcome of a healthy animal.”

“Dr. Costales is amazing! She is very attentive and great with our cats. Her soft-spoken, calm demeanor has allowed us and our pets to feel comfortable during appointments. I never feel like she is trying to upsell me on anything and she truly has my animal’s best interest and health in mind. Midwestern students get a discount, and she is an alum! I highly recommend this office”

“I have taken several of my pets here. The staff is always there to great you with a comforting " we got you". I had a very sick family dog that I took there when he got worse and thru the whole process they were so supportive and helped our family get thru a tough time. I've never had a bad encounter there or left feeling like my animal was not well taken care of. I recommend this facility.”

“I have been going to 43rd Avenue Animal Hospital for over 20 years. My whole family goes there with all of our fur babies and each one receives excellent care. The staff and Dr. Strylie and Dr. Darmofal are gentle, caring and honest. It's pricey but worth the peace of mind.”

“I travel to a bit to get to Acoma because they're the best. They really care about the pets, no matter how naughty they might be! All the staff is extremely knowledgeable. The front office is always friendly and helpful. And the doctors? I've never been more confident in my pets' care. I literally LOVE any doctor that I've seen there. Over the years my family has owned A LOT of dogs (usually 4+ at any given time), and after finding Acoma, I'll never go anywhere else. I'm always confident in their work and opinions.I hand my babies off to the techs without another thought, because they're always so good with them, even our snappers!”

“By far one of the cheapest places in town to get your pets or strays spayed/neutered. The tradeoff is just how busy they are, this place is an absolute neuter factory. They do a TON of spays and neuters every day, so you need to call and schedule an appointment.

The way it works is that you call and make an appointment for a specific date, but on that date, the order that the reservations get done in are first come, first serve. They open the doors at 7 am, I recommend arriving at 6:30 at the latest and getting in line in front of the door. It will be crowded, so make sure you have a decent carrier if you're bringing a small pet, as there can be a few rowdy dogs in a small crowd. Showing up at 6:30 could save you a lot of waiting. It can often take 1-2 hours to wait if you arrive at 7 am.

From there, you will sign your name on a list and then wait. The vaccinations are also first come first serve, but they don't do reservations for that, and that starts later.

We paid around $130 total for a kitten to neutered, buy a cone, and be sent home with sedatives. Our kitten came out just fine, no infection or complication from the surgery, and he's now fully healed up and back to bouncing off the walls.

If you'd rather pay more to not have to wait in line and deal with stress, that's always an option, but many vets charge $200-500 for a spay/neuter package.

All in all, I would recommend it.”

“Amazing Animal Hospital. I had to make the choice to Euthanize my cat. I called at 12pm and they got me an appt at 4pm. They made the experience easier and peaceful for both myself and my cat. I am even more amazed with everything I received when picking up his ashes. A wooden urn, clay paw prints, a keepsake cat pin, and a card. I am so grateful.”

“Seven years ago our Whitaker was hit with Coon Hound Paralysis. He lost the ability to control any muscle movement other than eye and tongue and thankfully his ability to breathe. Within 4 months of great vet care he had gross muscle movement but also significant atrophy. At the right time we found AVPR and Sonnet. The 6 months of learning and pushing Whitaker to balance, walk, turn, stand and eat on his own and the skills used by Sonnet made daily workouts natural and fit into every day. Whitaker is now an 11 year old mobile eating machine enjoying every day except for his time on the balance board. Some things don't change. Thank you for everything!”

“We had a wonderful experience and I don’t regret making the switch over to Academy West Animal Hospital. Since 2016, we have been going to Banfield Pet Hospital. Here at Academy West, they treated our two dogs with so much kindness and patience. We have a reactive blue heeler and they were amazing with him. The team truly makes your pets health and safety the priority.”
