Being born and raised in Phoenix, popping into a carniceria isn't a big deal. What it is, though, is a treat! I popped in recently for the chicharron de pella at Carniceria Murrieta's and it was delicious. Got guacamole? Pair it with chicharrones! “Always one of my favorite Grocery stores to shop at. It's like shopping in any large Latin America Grocery store. Everyone is in a hurry to get their items and get home. This store is equipped with everything I needed.
The Meat Counter needs to fix the number dispenser so as to no one thinks they are next but are not.
The amount of open check stands to shopper ratios is very unbalanced, even with the self checkout available.
The lines go down the shopping isles with frustrated shoppers.
I did appreciate that the lookup menu at the self checkout does have common items available to quickly choose from. I will also add that while using the self checkout the register would go into a mode that said the attendant was coming to assist. The lady managing the self checkout was very responsive and helpful.”
“Carne Asada burrito w/ rice and beans, side of fresh pico de gallo. My favorite, and is always made just right. Jumex strawberry in a twist off can. Its a $10 burrito the size of your arm made fresh to order. Been coming here for almost a decade & never disappoints. Authentic carniceria & fresh daily. Right on Broadway just east of Extension.”

“This is where we get a lot of our meat. My wife is from Mexico and she always goes there for tamales, chicharon, carnitas and carne asada. They make really good horchata too.”
