Just a recommendation to not have automatic doors at a pet store ! As my Grammys puppy accidentally got let go and was able to walk through both automatic doors just fine . Huge shout out to the front clerk who gave me lip and told me to bring my Grammys dog to the vet …. When he was already dead on impact . Shout out to that clerk who also tried giving me lip about my DOG that was on leash and had her collar on who said to me twice “she should be in a slip lead .” Like there weren’t bigger issues on hand and that my dog obviously knew something was up and her mom was stressed cause she just saw a puppy get hit by a car . But yeah maybe get rid of automatic doors at a pet store ?!

Chloe came in very anxious after a difficult experience at another salon where her face was nicked, so I was especially nervous about taking her somewhere new. The team took extra time with her, were patient and gentle, and made sure she felt as comfortable as possible.
They were also very prompt and organized before the appointment—texting/calling ahead to confirm paperwork and make sure Chloe’s vaccinations were current. When you walk in, the space feels welcoming and well set up, with a TV to the right and several individual stalls for the dogs.
I truly appreciated the care, communication, and attention they gave Chloe. It was such a great experience, and I feel much more comfortable bringing her back. Highly recommend Velvet Hound Groomer!

Husband had chicken fried steak with sausage gravy! His plate was clean! I had the eggs Benedict with the sweet potato tos with chipotle/mayo sauce!! Delicious! Hats off to Adrian in the kitchen! We will definitely go back!!

I love trying their seasonal items and the manager actually cares about how they taste and asks for feedback on how they can make that item better. Everything for me is always served fresh, the lobby is quite and setup nicely for the space they have, they have tables and a cute sitting area for conversations. I love how the menue has plenty of healthy options for after the gym.

Was difficult to order second beer and just felt.like we were not a priority. But great food.

If you are not adventurous, the pepperoni is great of course, but my favorite was the goat cheese and fig flavor, while other guests in my party loved the fun-guy pizza. I was afraid that the crust might taste burnt, or be too thin, but the crust (even under the toppings!) was perfectly crispy and fluffy as well! We had a group of six, and three pizzas fed us very well. Highly recommend if you are in the area!! Wish there was one of these near me!

However, the white woman manager with the dreads who looks to be around 60 seems to foster a very tense and stressful environment for the employees. The times I've been there when she's not there, they seem to be in a much better mood and the service feels much better. Her attitude seems to be offputting and she's overly nitpicky with the employees. For the most part, other than that manager, I've had only positive experiences with the staff here.
