Boxseat Collectibles is a great local card shop and an awesome store in Phoenix, mostly geared for sports cards with an amazing selection from vintage to modern. The staff can be super helpful and generous, and they are willing to negotiate and trade. Some customers report getting a nice deal and enjoy talking about the hobby, finding the people cool and good. However, the Pokemon selection is noted as overly priced and not a good place for a deal. The shop gets really busy, so trade and buying nights are best for that activity. Customer service experiences vary, with some staff described as incredibly sweet, friendly, nice, and personable with a positive attitude, while others are seen as more dry and apathetic in their approach.
Mike and especially Sam, are always willing to assist in any way they can. They know their sports and maybe even more importantly, can point their customers in a direction that best fit the customers goals. The store offers a great environment and I always leave knowing a little more about the hobby.
