“Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church is a very beautiful and meaningful place for the Vietnamese Catholic community in Phoenix. The church has a distinctive Vietnamese architectural style, which makes it feel familiar and special, especially for Vietnamese people living far from home.
What impressed me most was the peaceful and reverent atmosphere. The church is spacious, well maintained, and the surroundings are very pleasant. It is not only a place for attending Mass and prayer, but also an important place where the Vietnamese community can gather, preserve their faith, language, culture, and traditions.
The parish offers Mass in Vietnamese, which makes it especially welcoming for Vietnamese families in Arizona. I also appreciate the sense of community here and the way the church helps connect generations of Vietnamese Catholics living in the United States.

Both female, which is very untraditional and progressive. Friday night service is a lot of singing and a short sermon, which was great. No children on friday night and most of the people, there are senior citizens. I would definitely go back..”

“For a seemingly unassuming choir, this parish has the most beautiful music! I don’t know who the young blonde female singer is but that lovely girl can sing !!! She gives us goosebumps every Sunday, lol ! But seriously she has a very beautiful voice that helps to lift our hearts and minds to God during Mass. I have been to several Catholic parishes in the Valley and St. Theresa parish has the best choir. Thank you so much for the very beautiful music.”

- Tired of being just a number and a Sunday Christian in a Mega Church that teaches false doctrines, handpicking and compiling different Bible verses, and twisting the Word to promote their political, financial and bigoted agenda
- Looking to grow spiritually, learn in-depth teaching of the WORD verse by verse from the most humble Pastor and Church Leaders (Elders), and to encounter amazing people and develop meaningful friendship/relationship with such welcoming congregation.
- Looking to focus on serving the surrounding community (not an unheard of remote town of a third world country to lay guilt on you so you can give more money and they can say its being used to help someone who you cannot verify, so just take their word for it)
- Tired of Overwhelming Noisy Rock Concert for Worship Songs, with the band more focused on showmanship than leading on Worshipping the Lord.
- Tired of display of arrogance, being on a pedestal, and not knowing your Pastor personally, cause you only know him via Satellite service, or he is too important to get to know his congregation in person.
- Having a teen daughter/son who will be accepted by their Peers in the Youth Group who will be a good influence, and walk with them through their daily pressure of being a teen ager.
- Tired of being Judged, or seeing other people be judged and condemned by the church and its hypocrite members. We are all SINNERS regardless of how big or small your sin is. Unfortunately, certain church tend to believe that there are acceptable and unacceptable sins, which gives them the right to judge, condemn and reject those who does not agree with their belief, but really needs God the most.
- Tired of offering plate being passed around during service which forces/manipulates you to give. Tithing should be between you and God, not you and the Church, for God loves a Cheerful Giver, not give because of obligation or compulsion. 2 Corinthians 9:7
- Tired of Bureaucracy of Churches that only accepts you if you abide by their rules. Membership should never be a requirement unless you want to be a part of a Cult.
- Just simply wanting to rely on His Grace and Mercy and not from any kind of works -Ephesians 2:8-9 . To be accepted for who you are. To know that someone will be there for you while you struggle with daily challenges of life. Everyone will continue to struggle and sin everyday, that's why Jesus died for us, cause we can NEVER be perfect...And if you are willing to accept that, then you know being a Christian does not mean you are perfect, living a perfect life, but know that you are LOVED and SAVED!

This church is amazing. What sets it apart is that it doesn’t see the world through the world’s eyes. It speaks from the Bible and stays true to what Scripture teaches, even when that means addressing things that may be uncomfortable or challenging in today’s culture. It doesn’t cater to sin or try to justify what the Bible clearly speaks against.
The pastors are passionate, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to teaching the Bible. Their sermons are grounded in Scripture, and while sometimes the message can be uncomfortable because it forces us to confront our own shortcomings, they make it clear that they aren’t there to judge us. They’re there to help us grow, become better Christians, and walk through the struggles we face.
I personally sought counseling from one of the pastors during a very dark time in my life. What I didn’t realize until the end of our meeting was that it was actually his birthday. He could have been spending that time doing anything else, but instead, he chose to give his time and his gifts to help me through a difficult moment. That meant more to me than I can put into words.
This church doesn’t just talk the talk—they lead by example. They serve, they care, and they’re willing to get down in the dirt with you when you need help.
They wash the feet.

“I have to push back against the divisive rhetoric of Nate D.'s review. I've been a member of Harvest for over eight years at the time of this review, and the one thing I can say has been consistent over this time -- with all kinds of ups and downs -- has been faithfulness to the Word of God, scripture, as closely as possible. There are many things I could say have been less than stellar over the years, but "twisting scripture" is the single most ludicrous thing anyone could say about what happens on Sunday mornings at this church. Stop by. You'll probably be welcomed warmly, a pretty good cover band plays some solid worship tunes that you can sing along with (along with most everyone in the room), and scripture is preached faithfully and clearly and carefully from the pulpit. Every single Sunday. You might even make Christ-following friends that are close enough to prevent you from leaving even when things are otherwise difficult -- I know I did.”

They have a small coffee shop that you can order great tasting tea or coffee at. They also have free coffee and creamer too. If it's your first time, make you know that you get VIP parking and a free drink from the coffee shop. They have 3 services and many different Life Groups too. Plenty of ways to get involved. If you're having anything kind of hurt or wanna get rid of any negative habit even procrastinating or people pleasing, come join us on Friday night at 7p.”
