“Nice location, nestled in the desert mountains of Ahwatukee neighborhood. A good late night Christmas Eve service that ends just after midnight. The service handout is helpful since I'm Seventh Day Adventist and hadn't been to a Catholic Service in many ages and needed some guidance. Good scripture choices and readings that discuss the sacrifice Jesus made and the sacrifices we must make as believers in God, Jesus Christ Almighty and the Holy Spirit.Fellowship and congregation is important for us as God is present when 2 or 3 come together to worship him so no matter your affiliations attendance together is important. This is a good choice since they are faithful to the scriptures and the teachings of God and the Son of Man, Jesus on Earth. Thank you for the handouts and for the 2024 calendar with the beautiful imagery of the Cathedral from around the world.God Bless.”

“From the first time I visited, the nun, Gamo was super kind and helpful and friendly. She has a wonderful sense of humor. The monk that does the sunday meditations is also super nice. It was a joy to talk with them and visit this place. It is a great place for beginners or anyone looking for a meditation center.”

“Albeit I’ve only been to a weekday mass thus far, I found it a beautifully holy and reverent parish. A few small elements of the extraordinary (Latin) mass are woven in which I loved. After mass including a great homily, some stayed and did the Divine Mercy Chaplet together which is an added bonus. ?”

“Saved my life many years ago when my daughter was admitted to St Joseph hospital after her near drowning at 18 months. The staff was always there for me and provided in so many ways to help me through the tragedy of her eventual passing. Wonderful church bar none.”

“Directions to this event were perfect. I arrived to attend a MADD(Mothers Against Drunk Driving seminar, and found that there was plenty of spacious parking. The staff was also friendly and the male restroom was clean as was the inside and outside of the church. There was also law enforcement security present to ensure the rules were being followed and that all attendees were safe.”

“God brought my family here at the beginning of the year(Jan 2023). The church is focused on 3 things: Loving God, Loving each other, and Sharing Jesus. There are plenty of opportunities to build on those things and for using your spiritual gifting and building up one another. Leaders are approachable, trustworthy, loving, and grounded in the Word. If you stop by, i'd love to meet you. It may not be a fit for everyone, but God has fit us here, and we are blessed for it.”

“I've been here more than once. I go to help my family going through hard times. My daughter's a special needs child and mom and grandma and very high risk for getting sick, so I have visited. I have never seen the things from the poor reviews. I get that they really care to be doing the work on a Saturday. Everything we have received was never moldy or smelled bad. Usually the meat is frozen. I just left the review because these people seem to genuinely care... thank you very much...”

“I hope the following will give the reader a taste of New City. My wife and I have attended for nearly 9 years. The sermons are Jesus centered, and the mission is Jesus oriented. They don’t pass around a collection plate, and are clear and open about the allocation of alms. They do offer communion every service for those who identify as followers of Christ. There are opportunities to connect with others through service and ministry. The lead pastor steps back regularly for the associate pastors, ministry leaders, and guests to preach on Sundays. Coffee and water is available each service which is a nice treat. The church is not a mega church, you are welcome to meet the clergy and pray with em. My favorite thing about this church are the traditions: celebrating the Lord’s last supper, the Daniel Fast, and Easter Sunday, amongst other ways we gather to get to know Jesus more. If I had any negative sounding feedback, it would be that I think the worship music is too loud — I think a toned down set would raise the sound of the worship itself. My wife disagrees with me, for what it’s worth; she’s loves a concert feel.I’m grateful for New City and pray God to continually grow it as a light pointing to the love of Jesus.”
