Phoenix College Bookstore is part of a college that offers a variety of programs and classes. The campus has a nice look with brick walls and mid-century architecture, giving it a college feel similar to Midwest or Northeast schools. The faculty cares about students as whole persons, and class sizes are small enough for students to talk with professors easily. Many students have had positive experiences, especially with instructors who are patient, helpful, and dedicated to student success. One standout instructor is highly recommended for her supportive and approachable teaching style, which makes her classes easy and enjoyable to start with. The Dental Assisting program at Phoenix College is highly praised, considered one of the best in the United States. Students who went through the program say it provides excellent education, with a lot of hands-on experience and opportunities for growth. The instructors are caring and push students to their limits, helping them develop both old-school and modern techniques in the field. Graduates feel prepared for successful careers and value the program’s mix of traditional and current knowledge. However, some students feel the focus is more on career programs than academics, and communication issues can occur, especially with advising. Some experiences have been frustrating, such as unhelpful staff at the bookstore or poor communication from instructors. Despite these issues, many students are excited about starting their journey at Phoenix College and appreciate the friendly staff and welcoming environment.

Love the brick walls and mid-century architecture here. Looks like a real Midwest or Northeast college! The faculty really care about you as a whole person. The class sizes are great so you can actually talk with your professor. Love the location right in the exciting part of Phoenix. Go Bears!
