Mary is the only groomer that can do a PROPER shedding bath ? my little dog is NOT the easiest to handle and Mary does a fabulous job of working around her temperament. She also is the only technician that can get her nails done short enough, safely. Her prices are extremely reasonable - 5 ?

VCA Thumb Butte Animal Hospital
1441 W Gurley St, PrescottA couple a months ago we made the very difficult decision to put our beloved Shih Tzu down. Our little Penelope Peabody had been seen by VCA Thumb Butte Animal Hospital since we adopted her, 8 months old. She had been suffering for sometime and acutely the last 48 hours of her life. The compassion and caring that was demonstrated by the Vet and Tech, the entire staff actually, was incredible. I could not have asked for a more soothing experience even though as we know, these times are so challenging to go through. I just wanted to publicly thank Thumb Butte and let them know that I think they are awesome and that they went above and beyond to take care of us! The “kit” that was given to us later including her ashes was amazing as well. We miss Pennie terribly but can’t thank Thumb Butte enough!

The service was excellent and the food recommendations from our server were spot on. Highly recommend this place. Also, not that busy and no wait on a summer Friday night.

They have a commercial kitchen inside. Their breakfast burritos are hot and ready when you walk in, but were made that morning. They usually have at least three or four varieties, including a standard bacon breakfast burrito, but also green chili pork, chorizo, red chili, etc. They also have a variety of delicious home made salsas that you have to know to ask for when you are paying at the register. I highly recommend this place for a delicious and quick breakfast burrito in Prescott.

Marcy is a perfect fit for my home with my senior dog. They took the time to explain the pet’s needs, personality, and what would help them thrive, which I so appreciated. The adoption process was affordable and straightforward, and Susan and the staff genuinely want the best for both cats and the adopters. Very caring, knowledgeable, and dedicated to their animals. Miss Kitty's Cat House
302 N Alarcon St, PrescottI have both adopted from Miss Kitty’s Cat House and also brought them cats I’ve rescued from the streets. Miss Kitty’s has been working with me for years to help the stray cat situation in my area, and I cannot express how grateful I am for everything they have done.
Whenever I find stray cats that are injured, sick, or in urgent need of help, they have stepped in to guide me and support me. They have helped with veterinary bills, answered countless questions while I cared for sick or injured cats, and provided support when I rescued very young kittens and didn’t know what to do.
They also helped two cats I rescued get fixed, vaccinated, and ready for adoption. Because of them, those cats were able to find safe homes instead of continuing to struggle on the streets.
Some situations have been incredibly difficult, and they have been there through those moments as well. They helped me humanely put down a cat that was suffering from a severe infection after being shot with a BB gun. When another tragic situation happened involving a mother cat and her newborns that I was caring for, the owner took the time to console me and help me process what happened.
Miss Kitty’s truly cares about the cats and the people trying to help them. Their compassion, experience, and willingness to step in during emergencies make an enormous difference in our community. I’m incredibly thankful for everything they have done for both the cats and for me.
