And my new puppy started with symptoms of a blocked stomach and colon. Bloat basically. Of course this was New Year's Eve. The lovely girl gave me two options for emergency vets. I picked the wonderful people at Yavipavi emergency in Prescott. And after a very scary 12 hours and invasive surgery, he is fine. What I loved was Dr. Jarvis and her staff squeezed us in for a follow up and staple removal. I think they were like 5000 of them. She answered all my questions, I think they were like 5000 of them, gave me information I hadn't even thought to ask, and basically calmed me. Even though I'm there every year with my animals, everyone there treated me like a client that lives there year-round. And I didn't feel gouged. Everything was reasonable. Actually, better than reasonable. I cannot recommend them more. I would trust them with my animals implicitly. Thank you thank you thank you! Thank you!!

5 Pinon Drive, SedonaWe have been using Oak Creek Animal Clinic for 9 years, first with our now elderly near-end-of life golden doodle Linus, and now also with a new golden doodle puppy. We have worked with 3 different vets there. Over many years, we've used vet clinics in Maryland, Florida and Maine. I can easily say that our experiences with Oak Creek have always been high quality in terms of vet knowledge and skills, and in their interpersonal behavior both with us and our dogs. Linus has had three emergencies requiring surgeries. They handled the two (one was a potentially deadly, bleeding anal tumor done on a Saturday) ) they have the capabilities for, quickly, competently and very humanely. They had to refer us to an orthopedic specialty vet in Flagstaff or Phoenix for the third surgery when Linus tore out his hip, but did so by describing the alternatives including capabilities and price differences to be expected. In all cases and on every other visit the vets went to great lengths to explain conditions, diagnoses, options, prognoses, etc etc. Desk staff and assistants have always been kind, gentle and helpful. Their prices are no more expensive than vets we've dealt with in the past. Having said that, everyone wishes medical care was less expensive. Have you checked out pet insurance? It's crazy expensive if you have a generally healthy dog. We recently started our new puppy's relationship with Oak Creek Small Animal. First checkup was great. Cost was $59.

The staff are the most compassionate group of human beings we've ever experienced. Dr. Holly has a heart of gold as her compassion and comfort she provided was remarkable during this dreadful time. The Vet Techs were amazing as well. Dr. Kinney, thank you for helping us extend their lives as much as you could for the past 2 years.

Orchard Canyon on Oak Creek
8067 North State Rte 89A, SedonaWe stayed here with our kids and loved it. The rustic log cabins are very cozy with the string lights at night. They opened the chicken coop so we could go in and pet the hens who were so cute. Then the kids took off barefoot through the apple orchard.
We played chess in the lodge lounge and walked around the gardens after breakfast. Some of the veggies on our dinner plates came from those gardens and were delicious and fresh! So was their fresh pressed cider.
They set up a fire for us and provided everything we needed to roast marshmallows and make s'mores. Can't wait to go back.

They were so spicy that it kicks you in the face in the best way possible, the chips and salsa they offer as a starter is also the best. The hostess and the servers were all so kind! Highly recommend, we went there every day for lunch, and 3 times the last time we visited Sedona,.it's just that good!

My falafel was super and I mean super duper lemony. I like lemon but tone it down next time. I would get it again as it was well made and fresh. The place is clean and inviting. With some tweaks this could be phenomenal. My vegan and vegetarian friends support this place to help grow vegetarianism in this area.

Not only did they do surgery on him and put him back together like new, they also had him back in every couple months for plasma treatment — all without breaking the bank. They brought my cat right back to vibrant health, and I'll always be SO grateful.
