“Our local gas station.. the only one (but not for long). This spot is friendly. Lost of passer byers feed the stray dogs. On a typical day there are 8-10 dogs. Adaptable dogs, too! Annually our Junior Youth and Youth Empowerment program plans a spring break trash pick up-- part of a 15 year beautification project started by Querino Jr Youth group. Managers always hook the kids up for pickup up trash and feel a sense of pride in our local business collaborations. Bathrooms are usually being used and a line. Good for late night snacks!”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
