“I stopped in there today (12/21/23) looking for help fixing a necklace for my wife. While they normally dont do that kind of thing, Tammy told me over the phone to bring it in and she would take a look and see if there was something she could do. Unfortunately the necklace requires repairs that are above and beyond what they can do, but it was the effort she made to even look at it that made me give this review. Most places would brush you off without even looking at it! She also cleaned a pair of my wife's diamond earrings and was super helpful and kind throughout my visit at the store. In fact I ended up buying a set of earrings there just because I was impressed with the help and kindness I received while there. A little small talk later, I walked out a happy customer. You dont get that much more these days, sad to say. Tammy was great to interact with! Thank you, Al's!”

“This place is great if you need a last minute gift for whatever occasion and they even do gift wrapping in the store all you have to do is pay for the materials at the store they don’t use materials from other stores. They also offer online classes for many different things such as calligraphy, wrapping, origami…etc”

“Unfortunately time only permitted me to visit one establishment within fairlanes village center which was FedEx. I've been to several fedex locations across a few states and this one was nearly the best I've been to. Everyone was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and very kind in answering any and all of my questions and concerns. Often times employees can be a bit testy serving those who happen to rush in, last minute, and somewhat frazzled. Everyone at this location was very understanding to my situation and being that there were 10 minutes til closing, they never made this a factor in their service nor attitude. My only complaint is that I have to leave my bag up front and the employees don't really watch the bags. It'd be super easy for someone to snag it on the way out. I suggest having a designated area behind the registers.”

“I prefer to come to this JoAnns even though it is smaller than the other stores. There is a young man named Sebastian who always is friendly and helpful. When you are shopping, he will come by and ask if you need help. You don't get that service from either of the stores in the East Valley. If what you need is not in stock he will look up where it is. I am always happy to see that he is still working there. He is an asset that I hope the company appreciates him.”

“Stopped in here while in Scottsdale- what a lovely store! I spoke with the owner and she was extremely friendly, helpful and pleasant. The store samples/models are amazing and make a stop in the shop worth it alone. They have a large supply of canvases as well as accessories- scissors, glasses, threads etc- everything you could want! I loved browsing at the amazing store samples as well as talking to the owner. I ended up picking up a canvas from the trunk show they had as well as a pair of readers- since I forgot mine! What a wonderful shop to browse, buy and talk all things needlepoint and needle arts crafting!”
