“Think of Lakeshore as an upgraded toy store. They're playing to learn and it's great. For teachers, librarians, and anyone going "wth do I buy for my friend's kids birthday?" (me). Well, I quoted them word for word what my friend said her child loves and they pointed me to their interactive musical toys. I ended up buying a DJ Turntable for baby! His father is a DJ so it's perfect. Staff is very helpful! They were out of them the day I was there but told me when more would be delivered. When I returned on the date, they grabbed it from the back straight out of the delivery box. Great service.”

“I stopped in there today (12/21/23) looking for help fixing a necklace for my wife. While they normally dont do that kind of thing, Tammy told me over the phone to bring it in and she would take a look and see if there was something she could do. Unfortunately the necklace requires repairs that are above and beyond what they can do, but it was the effort she made to even look at it that made me give this review. Most places would brush you off without even looking at it! She also cleaned a pair of my wife's diamond earrings and was super helpful and kind throughout my visit at the store. In fact I ended up buying a set of earrings there just because I was impressed with the help and kindness I received while there. A little small talk later, I walked out a happy customer. You dont get that much more these days, sad to say. Tammy was great to interact with! Thank you, Al's!”

“This place is great if you need a last minute gift for whatever occasion and they even do gift wrapping in the store all you have to do is pay for the materials at the store they don’t use materials from other stores. They also offer online classes for many different things such as calligraphy, wrapping, origami…etc”

“This is a review for the store on Ray Road in Phoenix. Amazing customer service on the phone AND in the store. I drove 50 minutes to get to that particular JoAnn store because my 34-year old Husqvarna sewing machine was not working right and after making several phone calls around the day before, I finally got Stephanie on the line from the Viking Husqvarna store within the JoAnn store. On the phone and in person, she was the friendliest person! She was excited and eager to help me figure what was wrong with my machine. I was totally amazed and also relieved such a young person was so knowledgeable about a "vintage" Husqvarna. In just a few minutes she had fixed the tension and bobine issues. I can't thank her enough for her help. All the other employees were also very friendly and as I was pushing my cart through the store, everyone always greeted me with a smile and offered to help.”
