“I'd give this 5 stars but with the caveat that that's for Warhammer specifically. Their selection is incredible, they even give Gamer's Guild a run for their money with the amount of different models they have from 40K and Sigmar, it's huge. They have models from just about every game, they have models from every faction, even more obscure or older minis, and they almost always have multiples of each. I could easily spend thousands here. Also have a good selection of hobby materials like cutting boards, paint pallets, paint, hydration paper, nippers, glue (the good stuff too), and they have multiple lines of paint, not just Citadel. Worth mentioning that their prices are really good too, about as low as you really get without being second.”

The reasons you go to Republic Rare Coins:1) Al knows how to evaluate Modern & Ancient coins and will give you knowledge on coins even when you can't make out what they are or where they are from. People come from all over the world just to work with Al.2) When going to his shop. Be serious on what you are looking for or what you are selling. Time is valuable for Coin store owners. If you are just tire kicking like a lot of these negative reviews will post. You are in the wrong place.3) Understand the difference between Catalog price and Market price, they are totally different. If you see something sell on Ebay or any auction it doesn't always mean that is what it is worth. It means what that one person that wins was willing to pay. The catalog is a guide or starting place for pricing. Be sure you know if you only get 50-150% of catalog pricing it is based on market pricing and demand for such a coin.Al has always been fair to my late father Bob Phelan and I over the years that I thought he should be highly recommended as one of the very few business owners out there you can trust.”
