“I've got the Gas Buddy app & am amazed at the price disparity between Costco gas locations in the Phoenix area. Recently, the Scottsdale location is over 40-cents per gallon cheaper than other Costco gas locations nearby. The Glendale location typically has lower prices also since a Sam's Club is nearby with competitive prices. My fuel stops at Costco are not complete without going inside the store & hitting the food court for the $1.50 hot dog & Pepsi combo. If shopping, hit the food court first & sip your beverage around the store. Then get a free refill when exiting.”

“I came here almost a year ago and couldn't believe the horrible, horrible service I received from the young man who was apparently the only person working. I walked up to the counter and he didn't even look up from his phone. When he finally did he looked at me like, why are you bothering me? I only needed something very basic like being rung up or something and he was so rude and argumentative,and aggressive, talking to me like a friend or worse, just like talking down to one of the people he saw in the hallway at school. It was very weird. Like I said, I needed very basic assistance, and I was being like, my normal self, I wasn't mad or anything, and he was aggressive to the point that I suspected he might become violent. I've never quite had an experience like that, and was kind of the beginning of seeing that customer service has died, and Gen Z is part of the reason why. I don't care if anyone finds that statement offensive, it's just what I believe. What kind of people take an actual person's name, and use it over and over to describe a person with "negative" characteristics, (simultaneously shaming them, judging them, condescending them for their feelings and opinions)? I think that's an incredible #$&?!@# shame. That should have NEVER been done, and it quite honestly sickens me. And who are YOU to decide what "negative" is, anyway? It's quite subjective. And I'm SHOCKED that you so vehemently view a person who expects good service as negative. ?I see over and over again how Gen Z treats people with disrespect, and are SO judgmental of people. And if that sounds judgmental (haha), it's supposed to be. Yes, I'm judging you for being judgmental. Turnabout is fair play. It's just so gross, and it's a pattern I see over and over again. This incessant judgment of everyone and everything, this laissez-faire attitude about their jobs, and disrespectful, rude treatment of people who are insignificant to them, bothering them, or are "in their way" to some degree. I recognize that they aren't all like this & and some of those people are even friends of mine. But it certainly seems like a (possibly overwhelming) majority. ;(I know this sounds like a bad review, but...recently I came here again and there were new people working who were actually quite nice. I inquired about ownership and management did, in fact, change recently. I'm really happy about that. I'm stunned that the previous managers were able to get away with hiring such incompetent, disrespectful, rude, and lazy people. I'm impressed when I see people who actually care about their jobs and actually TRY to help their patrons. That used to be a given and now it's like, absolutely earth-shattering and stunning when I come across it. So thank you for being kind and providing good service ! I was avoiding this place for awhile but I will be back again.”

“My bf and I stopped in super early one morning on our way to work. We each grabbed a donut and a Pepsi from the fountain. We both agree that they have the best donuts in the valley, hands down. I seriously couldn't believe how delicious and fresh they were. The Pepsi tasted awesome as well. Some places just have better fountain drinks than others, and this is one of those places. The overall selection in the store definitely beats most convenience stores. The store was clean. The cashier was great. He even told me a hilarious joke. “This place is always clean & there is always a pump or five available. It's conveniently located right on the corner of Litchfield & Waddell. I've had to go in a couple of times & get assistance & the man working there has been very nice & pleasant. I don't mind coming here because the prices are reasonable & it's a quick in/out because of the convenient corner location. You can use your Safeway reward points to make your gas cheaper directly from the pump!”

“Experienced 5-star customer service in the Optical department at Sam's club yesterday! Went in with broken nose pads on my glasses asking for help with a possible repair that, as a senior with shaky hands, I couldn't do on my own. I was assured by Barbara that she would be more than willing to assist me. She proceeded with the repair immediately while I waited. She fixed the problem adding new pads and screws, adjusted my glass frames, cleaned the lenses and was beyond helpful to me with a bright and cheerful attitude. Kudos to Sam's Optical for their willingness to help with these, what might be considered "bothersome" repairs, and for having such positive employees like Barbara representing them. Sam's Club is the BEST in my book for their unusual customer service!”

“Gas here is fine. I hate krogers/frys. They over charge for poor quality foods. The bakery sucks. Everything I ever bought there I threw out uneaten. Its a grocery chain. All the food is the same as everywhere else. There's is the going rate. Its just the only supermarket in the neighborhood for 50 years! So its kinda the only place to go. Gas is great. Easy to get. No lines. Standard pricing. Get deals with a shopping card. Everyone knows that. I hate those stupid figures they uae to represent people too. Just hate kroger/frys. Wish there was a bashas out here.”
