Great store and great, friendly employees that accommodated me quickly even while they were accommodating other customers. Hopefully, they do get more of that ammo in because it's nice having a close, local shop stock what you're looking for. Also, special thanks to Ben for ringing me up quickly at the other counter.”

“These guys do amazing work! Very professional and outstanding customer service. For the quality of work this place offers, the prices are very reasonable. Below is the picture of the rifle they built for me. Tikka T3x .300 Win mag, McMillan Game Warden 2.0, proof carbon pre-fit barrel, Mountain Tactical bottom metal and 20MOA rail. In addition to putting this rifle together, these guys worked on my Remington 700 and my friend's Remington 700. Both of us were very satisfied with the quality of work. As long as these guys are in business, I will not be going anywhere else.”

“This guy was awesome, me and my girl were looking for. Glock 45 when we came across JDR guns. Owner suggested we come look at a 9mm S&W Sheild Ez and I am so glad we did because we actually like this gun better than than the Glock 45 is more compact and the it fits in your hand and my girl can rack the slide a lot better on this gun and it was cheaper. Just a better deal and Gun all the way around. And it’s under warranty for life, can’t beat that. You definitely want to get your gun here at JDR.”

“I live across town from this shop so it's seldom I get to pop in, but whenever I came in I walked out with something. Kinda feels like an old time mom and pop gunstore from the 70s/80s, which is kinda cool. They have a lot of cool interesting used trade-ins and out of production collector type guns. Guys at the desk were helpful. Prices for inventory seemed very reasonable. Stop by if you're in the area.”

“Fantastic experience for my first time coming to the store! I randomly placed a call the day before looking for a specific gun. They did not have it in the configuration I wanted, but made a suggestion that was a big upgrade that was even better. They bundled it all up so it wasn't an "upsell." It was such a good deal that I ended up buying $250 in other things in their well-stocked shop. Healy's is a full-service shop with very knowledgable staff that answered all of my questions, and can help with the purchase and registering of suppressors, too. If they weren't so far away, they'd be my go-to gun shop!”

“Small little shop. Not much inventory, but you can special order some stuff for you. The gentleman running the shop was friendly, blunt, and to the point about his inventory and stock. Great shop of you want some SOT items.I believe the other reviews are bogus and from people who do not know much about the firearm industry and the expense of maintaining a working inventory in todays current firearm market. Overall, great experience.”

“Revised, see 3-8-24 below.They have slightly better pricing on some ammo. For $100 they will ship everything free for a year. This gives them a small advantage. For someone that has the items in stock, they take a long time to get them on a truck. Expect 2 weeks or more for shipping to the east coast.Revised 1-29-24: They have either run out of most good sporting clays ammo or raised the price. Paid the $100 for free freight now they don't have anything to ship.Revised 3-8-24. Changed 2 stars to 4. Their shipping has improved considerably. They turned the last order around in one day. They did get stock in that was again competitively priced as they said they would. That makes the shipping deal good again. As they say in their response, they must have been having temporary problems over the holidays. They have corrected them. I have to say, a 1 day turn around is excellent! Good on them. I am now recommending them to my circle of shooting friends.”
