The pharmacy techs are rude and absolutely useless. Please save yourself a headache and fill your prescriptions elsewhere

I have been coming to the pharmacy for over ten years. The staff here used to be organized and friendly. Things have changed. On my last visit, the doctor said they sent the prescription--at 10:00 am. I call Walgreens. They say they didn't get it. I call the doctor to resend. Repeat x4. I finally drive to the doctors. Pick up a paper copy. But it's a copy. Walgreens won't fill it. The person working the register was new and really uninterested in being helpful. At this point, I'm at Walgreens semi-hysterical--my kid was really sick and it is 4:30 on a Friday. I call the doctor's office again. They tell me to hang up, go to the pharmacist, and have them call the office. The pharmacist did and the problem was fixed in literally 30 seconds. Hours of my day and it took 30 seconds to fix. So fast forward three weeks. Both my kids are sick. I watch the doc send both prescriptions in after the fiasco last time. I get the notification one is ready. Walgreen Online system doesn't have the other. It connects me to the pharmacy. Someone answers and just says, "we're putting you on hold." Rude. Then when the phone rings through after sitting on hold, they say nothing and just put the call back on hold. I sit on hold for twenty minutes then just decide to drive to the store--still on hold. I get there expecting a huge line. Four people. I watch the same unhelpful person from last time continually putting people on hold. A co-worker actually told her not to answer the phone because "the line was long." So I get to the counter--still on hold. They have one prescription ready and start the, we didn't get the other one. I was not kind. To the credit of the person helping me, she did go find it (in fact, Walgreens had gotten the prescription) and had the tech fill it while I waited. She even tried to help me find a coupon. I appreciated that. So I get the antibiotic home and the bottle doesn't seem full enough but I just assumed it was the way it should be. My child ran out on day eight. I tell our pediatrician about it and he tells me the prescription wasn't mixed correctly. His nurse then quietly asked me what pharmacy we'd be using in the future. So that's that.

Horrifying experience. The team here would rather send you to the hospital than do their jobs. If you have any other options stay away.

I am not giving them 5 stars because I haven’t used the pharmacy recently, but Walgreens was great when I worked for them.I saw another reviewer say they were going to switch to CVS and I basically just wrote a review about CVS and said I am planning to switch to Walgreens but after reading these reviews and noticing the same policy that I was complaining to CVS about.Closing the pharmacy for lunch rather than staggering the lunches so that people can pick up their medications when they need them would be decent customer service. My new health plan is associated with Walgreens so I hope it works out for me, but if it doesn’t I will be allowed to change in the first couple months.I am already seeing red flags with this new health plan I switched to when mine was no longer available in AZ.The health plan is called Allignnent and I barely received any mail because it was mailed to a nonexistent address and when I called to alert them they told me I have to wait until January 1. I told them that was their first red flag. I do not have high expectations of the health plan and I haven’t received any more mail. After reading these reviews you are just as bad as CVS when it comes to caring about your customers.I will be researching pharmacies along with the health plans if Alignment Health is as incompetent as my former plan, Imperial Health.I wish I qualified for AHCCCSI hope you are better than your current reviews because I loved Walgreens when I worked for the company back in the in the busiest Walgreens in AZ at the time at 36 st and Thomas. Please hire enough people so they don’t make so many people write reviews.I write a lot of Google reviews and I am a level 8 Google Guide.I gave you 3 stars because it looks like most of your stores think it’s a policy to close the pharmacy in the middle of the day rather then having adequate staffing.CVS and Walgreens both have the same problems and it is not safe for consumers.

I don’t know how it’s possible for every time I come to pick up a prescription there are six or seven cars in the drive-through lane all waiting 10 to 15 minutes for someone inside to literally “hand a bag” to a car. This place is absolutely pathetic. I keep telling my wife to change over to CVS but this is 50 feet closer drive time. DO BETTER WALGREENS

Pharmacy techs are rude, condescending and unhelpful. They did not want to help me by opening prescription eye drops so I could use them. I could not get the cap off. I will never go back.

I plan on purchasing some items but I was trying to use the bathroom first. The cashier told me the bathrooms are "closed for safety reasons".... I'll take my business elsewhere.

Very disappointed to see an online special for fantastic prices on a back to school promo only for Walgreens to refuse. Spent a bunch of time building a cart. The deal brought it down to $25. Walgreens wouldn’t honor it and wanted $135…. How does this happen??? :(

Walgreens is a well-known American pharmacy store chain that offers a wide range of products and services, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, health and wellness products, beauty items, household essentials, photo printing services and more. They have locations all across the United States and also offer online shopping with home delivery or in-store pickup options. Overall, Walgreens provides convenient access to essential healthcare needs for their customers. If you want to learn more about them or find their nearest location to you.

I have been coming to this Walgreens, since I was a boy. The woman Manager Oriana in Pharmacy is rude and disrespectful. Oriana needs some serious training. I am so disappointed. I do not k ow how she is a manager and acts the way she does. It's just disgusting.

Worst Walgreens. Their pharmacy sucks. I dropped off my prescription before their lunch break. Over 2 hours later when I return, they still haven't started them. I had dental surgery and they told me to come back another 45 minutes later. Horrible customer service. Get a new manager.

This is worst pharmacy have ever experienced, at 64yrs old have experienced a few. Went 5mins til close & they refused to help cuz my prescription wasn't ready even though called earlier in day to verify it was. Then said it was returned to stock even tho it was filled just 3 days prior. It was an Inhaler which needed right away. The pharmacist told me he had young kids & needed to get home to them, this is 10pm. Have no co-pays so didn't need to ring it up. This return to stock or prescription isn't ready thing has happened almost every time get med refilled. Had to drive much further to 24hr location & wait over an hr. When call put on hold 10-15 mins & then get hung up on. Yesterday was hung up on 3 times, took 25 mins to talk to someone to see if med was ready that Dr sent refill for. Was told they didn't have a refill order. Today called to see if my prescription had been sent by Dr & they said no. Called my Dr's office & they said had sent yesterday. Called another Walgreens & they said it was ready at this location. You'll get robo calls that your prescription should be refilled but no calls once it has. They are rude & never apologize for their mistakes, just get more hostile like I'm the one responsible. Stay away from this Walgreens!
