Woodworkers Source is the best place to get anything lumber related and the top exotic wood supply store in the Phoenix Metro Area, with no close second. It has beautiful, high-quality wood and a lot of product, including a nice selection of exotic woods at both locations. While prices are a bit on the high side, the product is higher quality. The staff and gentlemen working there are great, over the top friendly, helpful, professional, and very knowledgeable, providing fantastic and great customer service. They have always done a great job with custom cuts, cutting small lengths as needed. The energy is contagious, making it a comfortable place to buy and talk for advice. Some feedback notes not really liking the new layout and merchandising strategy, but it remains a definite go-to place for lumber with great service and quality.
I was looking to restore an old bench. They were super helpful and recommended 4/4 roasted poplar. They cut all the pieces for less than $5. This is my new wood source. They got tools too.
