“Dropped on by this Shell gas station in Tuba City, UT, to get gas + potty break in route to my next stop, Moab, UT. Gas pump had paper receipt. It is a pet peeve of mine when it's out of paper, but I do get over it once I drive away LOL. I had to wear my mask at this place unlike the other gas stations where I didn't have to... it's all good. Restrooms were clean. I would parouse around for knick knacks like stuff animals for my daughters. Nothing called out to me here. Staff was okay... you don't always get the happy go lucky ones at these stops.Anyway, this wasn't a Love's, Pilot, or Flying J and that's okay. When you need car gas, you take what you can get especially when you're traveling long distance on a road trip. Happy and Safe Travels!”

“Easy on/off access to the highway. I was just passing through so that was important. No squeegee to clean the windows. It is kind of a run down place, but I was able to get gas and get going. Went inside and there are plenty of easy snacks and drinks - two clerks checking people out so that helps.”

“Had a great experience at Cal's this week. My Jeep was running hot and nearly left me stranded near Monument Valley. I eventually found my way to Cal's (Thanks to Chief's Towing) without an appointment or any notice. Earl got me in immediately and after a thorough checkup, the mechanic correctly diagnosed a faulty thermostat even though mine was only a year old. Earl found a new one at a local parts store and immediately drove to get it. I was on my way back to the Verde Valley a short time later. The Jeep ran great. Thank you Earl and the unknown awesome mechanic.”
