“We took the opportunity to try a couple of rib eyes from Forbes Meat Company and we loved them. Although expensive at $22/lb at the time I write this we don't eat a lot of beef and found these steaks to be way above the quality you get at the big name grocery stores.My only complaint and the cause of 4 stars instead of 5: The company moved to 6th Street in the Sam Hughes area, but I drove to the old downtown location because Forbes hasn't updated their web site. Hopefully they will fix this but don't make that mistake like I did.”

“I was here visiting family and as I searched “the closest meat market” Davison Meats showed up. I was just lucky to find this place. I purchased two Rib Eye steaks from the friendliest woman. I am 70 years old and I can honestly say I have never had anything taste so good! The people in Tucson are quite fortunate to have an establishment like this.”

“Kinda hood location but it always seems these holes in the walls are great. They got a carniceria in here, and prices are low. I have had multiple cows processed at the slaughterhouse, and it's about $5/lb for most cuts of meat, wholesale killing my own cow. Not much higher here. Selection is everything from cheap cigarillos, bum wine (wait, MD 20 still exists, LOL)? Mexican over-the-counter meds, lots of beer, and a decent chip aisle. The service was friendly and is a good local market. Next time I'm on this road and am craving a Coke Zero and some Turbos Flamas, I'll be back.”

“Let me start... day before Thanksgiving, these ladies in here are amazing. Working hard to keep traffic moving. Waited in line and was 4th one back and only took about 5 minutes before my turn. Nancy and Autumn both greated me with smile on their face. Nancy was amazing but having a short conversation with me while Autumn went back to get my ham. First time at this location and not a disappointment at all. I know time around holidays are hectic at places like this but still to be greeted by an hear hostess and then at the register was amazing! Keep up the good work ladies!!”

You're very happy and pleased with our experience so far, The tortillas are delicious (from Mexico) and the fajita chicken was delicious. We also got some beef to make carne asada and we were not disappointed. We followed the young lady's advice when we went there and we were not disappointed.
