“Petland doesn’t have the best reputation, but I tried this store anyway because they had the puppy I wanted. I rescued a puppy mill dog once years ago (not from petland) and had to deal with a lot of issues. That’s why I was impressed with this particular store and how well they kept everything clean and well managed. Her temperament is astoundingly good and that’s how I know for sure they did a good job caring for her until she found her forever home with us. I’ve had no issues with her health or mental state. The staff seem to love their jobs and they are knowledgeable and available. Eddie and his wife were fantastic. I cannot say for sure anything about what goes on in the background or about any other store in another city or state. These chains are independently owned. I am against puppy mills and mills should be outlawed. This store showed me she was from a kennel and seeing for myself that she was well adjusted without issues was a good experience. I am just super happy to have my new fur baby. I updated this post a few months after getting her.”
