“I have used GCM computing over the past 3 decades, and have always been satisfied with their services. But I have to say, with this most recent service, Nate knocked the ball out of the park.I brought in my 8-year-old Dell XPS computer almost too late. Its performance had slowed considerably over the past couple of years, but in the past 3 months, it was more than slow. It froze, and finally, gave the black screen for a time before it would boot up. I honestly didn't think that anyone would be able to help me out with it, that I'd waited too long, but because I had faith in GCM, I took it into them anyway.Nate explained that the hard drive was dying. They offered me to purchase a refurbished Dell OptiPlex 7060 with the data on my current hard drive "cloned" to it. He said that when I turned on the new machine, I would see everything exactly as it was on my dying machine...but that the new one would be capable of updating to Windows 11, while the XPS wasn't. I was unfamiliar with this technology, but trusted him to do it for me. I really didn't want to be bothered with researching a new computer and transferring my data onto it at this time, with other things I have going on in my life.It turned out that the hard drive was on its death bed. It wasn't an easy recovery, and it took a week or so, but Nate was able to repair enough to clone over my hard drive's data onto the new-to-me computer. Wonder of wonders! It is *exactly* like my old machine. The only thing I had to do was load up a picture for my home screen and re-arrange the icons. But everything else is just as my old PC appeared. It was such a relief to be able to pick up where I'd left off, but better! The OptiPlex is much faster than my XPS, and programs open almost instantly. It's quiet, while the XPS was a bit noisy. I was amazed to learn that I would not even have to transfer my ESET and Malwarebytes licenses; they are intact with this cloning, and as best I can tell, operating as they should be. And there's a bonus. My old Altec-Lansing speaker system with subwoofer never worked correctly, if at all, when I had the XPS. Now? It's working perfectly, and now I can enjoy my music while working in a way that I haven't been able to do for the past 8 years!I'm very grateful to Nate for taking the time and having the patience to do this for me. The cost was fair, and well worth it. I highly recommend GCM computing for your computing needs. They are my go-to for support and service. Long live Nate, and GCM computing, because when I have need of services for my computers, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I can trust them with my data and my equipment, and in today's world, that's saying something.”

“I went into this location with a situation that I didn’t know if I could get figured out. Regan was wonderful! She helped quickly resolve my situation (it was no issue from the store side whatsoever) with a friendly positive attitude. It’s so hard to find customer service lately in these times, but Regan went above and beyond for me!! I really appreciate her!!”

“Been a couple of times, but the only thing is they don't like to return items or sell individual parts, so I just go to the best buy on promenade for that kind of stuff.”
