“Was very surprised that Harp’s had taken over cravens. Very good selection on wines from the Napa Valley. Their beer selection is great. The only complaint that I would have is their deli. The display case was pitiful, maybe five pieces of deli meat. Having worked in a deli for over 12 years in the Napa Valley. I suggest the management get some help.”
“Clean, friendly staff only reason it isn't 5 stars is price of gasoline, and that's not employees fault. IMHO, 20 miles shouldn't be 20 cents cheaper”
“Fun and friendly store to explore. They had what I was looking for.
Watch expiration dates.
Organization was fair, understanding that would be difficult with this type of inventory”
“It's a convenient place and the only place within ten miles of us. Prices are bit high but employees are super nice and friendly. I'm grateful to have this place close to us.”
“Just recently moved here, and the owner John is very friendly, greets and even helps you pack groceries into your car, when possible. Pizza is also made here daily with pick up. Small, not too much of variety when it comes to vegetables, especially meat, yet doable for emergencies and day to day, needs. Beats driving 30 minutes to Heber Springs, if you just need a couple things.”
“Very nice store. Clean and well kept. The employees were nice and helpful. Everything is well stocked. Great for a quick shopping trip. But we drove 87 miles just so we could meet the awesome employee there ?”
“The DG is a fantastic store with great meat & produce. The only issue is service time. Corporate DG likes to schedule only a couple of people most of the time & that leads to long check out times. DG pulled out all the self checkouts. This DG is very clean & staff are very friendly. I drive past 2 other DGs to get to this store because they have most of what I need in stock & items I've never tried before. The bonus is DG donates fresh food to our local pantry so pantry clients can get healthy food options. My biggest issue is with corporate, not the store. We are a tourist area & during peak season, the wait time to checkout is going to get much longer if more employees aren't scheduled to work.”
“A few years ago I gave this store one star. I reported it to the District Manager, and included photos. I recommended you shop anywhere but the Greers Ferry Dollar General.Today I changed my review. This store is in a new building, built next door. There is a new store manager; I'm told the previous store manager still works there but is no longer the manager.I gave it another chance, and I'm glad. It's expanded, the selection is better, but, the problems I found have been corrected or are on their way to being corrected. The aisles aren't being completely blocked with unpacked boxes, just sitting in the aisles; employees are actively stocking the shelves. There are ample carts for customers. Things are much better. It's a much better atmosphere. I'm glad I went back, and I'll return. I talked to an employee and told her about my previous review. She said I wasn't the only one who had been unhappy and to please "Give us another chance". I certainly will! I hope others will, too!”
“Great little location for a Dollar General. Keeps lake-goers fun having to drive all the way into town for necessities. Staff is friendly, and the parking lot is adequate for even those towing trailers”
