“Beautiful place even in the heat of summer. Still had plenty of azaleas blooming in the shade. Waterfalls are nice and accessible and very beautiful as well. Great staff who were full of helpful information. I suggest spring though rather than July, although it was nice in the shade despite the extreme heat.”

“Front desk was only okay. Thankfully any issues we had were taken care of so no going further there.Shower area where the toilet was seemed small. Shower itself was very large and nice.Bed was very comfy. Pillows were nice. Couch was comfy but seemed old or newer but used by people who spilled things. Felt better throwing the extra sheet available on it.All appliances worked. Full sized fridge was nice. Breakfast is what made this place amazing. Scones the size of my hand??? YES PLEASE. Would stay again for the scones only.We had one with a view of the lake and the sunset so every night was great! Pool was used by families every second so we skipped that.Nearby activities: Outside of the busy part so the nights were quiet but close enough that it wasn't bad driving to places. Make sure you aren't there when a race is going on.”

“Overall nice place to stay a night or two. However we had issues with the heating unit they didn't have anyone to fix it they didn't offer assistance so I stayed cold the entire visit, coffee pot didn't work horrible experience, staff was overall kind with a few grinches in between. Definitely didn't go out of their way to help with any of the issues. We were not treated properly as we should have been. Yes my husband works and looks like it, don't treat him poorly because of how he looks he has the money you treated everyone else differently as I stood there and thought to myself how pathetic of a Town definitely won't be back. Horrible experience all around, the treatment of my husband the horrible customer service, the room definitely needs work. It's a 3 Star not up on the top as it should be. Not the best location for out of towners,we will definitely stay elsewhere if we visit again. Final note we were charged for an extra night we didn't reserve or ask for it was an error on their part took a week or so to get back so watch the billing tried scamming not professionalNoteworthy details: No breakfast because they have kitchenets please not coming into town to cook my own breakfast or meal I'm not happy with the breakfast "no breakfast" to be exact. We didn't care about having a kitchen rather a meal and a good time is what we were wanting. Horrible experience again”

“My wife and I ordered the prime rib sandwich there was plenty of tender beef on the roll, I had the house salad for a little extra my wife ordered the fries, they came with, very good. Our friend ordered the catfish and thought that was great too.”
