“This is not a stop on your way through town. It is a destination, make no mistake.I can't even find the time or words to explain how energizing and joyful it is to visit this shop. Why would anyone ever willingly go to a Barnes & Noble or (god forbid) a Books-A-Million store when this place is around? They can order basically anything they don't have with free shipping in a matter of 3 days or so. The staff is welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable. These are people who care about what they're doing and are invested in their own industry's products: books! Staff recommendations sold me on books I've passed by a hundred times in my previous career as a retail chain bookstore manager. Selections in-store for every age group and genre are fantastic, and the place smells like an upscale massage parlor (i.e., AMAZING).You can find souvenirs and gifts here, too, such as sumptuous soaps, cute stickers, toys, novelty socks, bookmarks, and more. They have local/Arkansas books and a robust children's section. The nonfiction/classics side of the store is not by any means neglected and houses reads just as enticing as the fiction side's (moreso in my humble opinion). There truly is something for everyone here, and I mean everyone. They appear to be diversity-friendly in every way, and I experienced nothing that would say otherwise (besides a genuinely mistaken misgendering, but it happens to the best of us). I truly believe all are welcome and embraced here. I *will* make the 6-hour drive to come back next time I need a specific book. Forget B&N.”
“This was my first time visiting this store and we come through Little Rock often. A local author, Mrs. Alice Taylor, recommended we go there and I did. Immediately inside, I was in loved. It's an amazing gem in the community and I'm glad I got to experience it. I conversed with so many people that I didn't want to leave. There was so much knowledge to obtain. We're returning in April with friends and making a day trip of this place. It was everything. Books, art, and plants...what more could you ask for❤”
“Great love from the people sound doctrine they give you an option old school hymns on one side and modern Christian music on the other. It’s a fit for everybody.”
“Friendly and helpful. Did not receive the tax weekend break on a $300 book and a mistake happened with an order. But they have the books I need for class, friendly staff, and local.”
“Super spacious and quiet! High intellectual source of joyful life starts here. Even for kids. Lot of good comfortable chairs for the reading all over the store. Very helpful staff. Clean restrooms. Well organized categorized themes”
