I drove a 4 year old vehicle which is fine.I was charged $100 for fuel when I returned the vehicle full of fuel. When I tried to get a refund It was refused, through an email, which ISN’T FINE!!!I will never rent from Dollar or Hertz companies again.It isn’t hard to be fair. This isn’t fair.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!* THEY WILL SCAM YOU WITH ADDED FEES THAT WERE NEVER MENTIONED TO YOU AFTER YOU RETURN THE VEHICLE.I am very dissatisfied with this company. My family recently rented 5 vehicles through Dollar and were taken advantage of from the time we called to get quotes until after we had returned the vehicles. The particular vehicle I rented had a dirty mask in the back of the front passenger seat that wasn’t found until after we had left the airport in Boston. We were assured due to COVID that all of their vehicles are cleaned and sanitized. Obviously ours wasn’t. Prior to returning our vehicles back in at the airport we stopped and cleaned them out as a courtesy. We wanted to leave them in as close as possible to the same condition as when we got them. Once we arrived home we noticed a cleaning fee (that was never mentioned to us one time) had been added to our credit card. It totaled $750 extra dollars for my family for 5 vehicles that were cleaned out prior to returning. We will never again rent through Dollar and will make sure to warn as many people as we can not to rent through them either.

We were charged high unexpected fees after returning the vehicle. We were unable to contact anyone about these fees. Multiple emails were sent with no response and there was no local contact phone number.

I returned a car on September 19th at 11:00am. Was told to drop my keys in the drop box. It is now 5 days later and I've been charged $136 a day since they can't close out my reservation. I've been robo called 10 TIMES threatening me with repossession and with revoking my rental privileges. I've been on the phone twice with their main office and keep getting told I need to wait 48 hours for an answer. My recommendation is to avoid Dollar and any other brand under the Hertz umbrella.

Worst rental office ever! When I picked up the car, it took an average of 15-20 minutes for each customer to get checked out. Meanwhile one of the staff members was yelling at everyone in line to have their licenses and credit cards ready (so loud and unprofessional!) when she should have been focusing on moving the people she was already helping.Reserved a mid size car and got a Toyota Corolla. (Will deal with the price difference when I get home)Returned the car this morning and the attendant said nothing. No hello, thank you, goodbye, nothing. Thought he was going to fall asleep while he printed my receipt. Zero personality or people skills. Zero!!!We are Hertz Gold Members and the only reason we used Dollar was because Hertz didn’t have cars available. Never, ever again. I’ll Uber before I have to use Dollar again.

Counter agent was trash. I didn't have a reservation after attempting to make one with my flight via Southwest a week prior. All she could tell me is that they didn't have any cars. She didn't try to be helpful or proactive. I went to another counter and saw her interact with another customer and she was just a dry all while watching tv on her phone.

I had a reservation for pickup at 9:30PM, well before the posted closing time of 11PM. When I arrived, nobody was there, leaving me stranded in the airport. Come to find out, all the employees had gone home for the night. Thanks, Dollar Car Rental.

Help I’m at rental car counter with a reservation for a 7 passenger suv and I was offered a Camry. The lady working says that’s all they have. Here is a pic of the dollar/thrifty cars and I’m told well they don’t start. She tells me to call customer service and the non English speaking person there Rob 3314 says all they do is make or cancel reservations. Awful what is a reservation for?

Horrible company w/ zero customer service. They messed up our reservation which was made thru a 3rd party & then arbitrarily charged us $51.00 for a fee that we did not authorize that the 3rd party company did not pay Dollar.....Unbelievable & will never use this company again!!! Dollar refused to refund our $51.00

I rented a car thought priceline for 93 dollar and end up paying 281.38. They charge for a hole week because which was 173.38. I did keep the car for one extra day, never was told that i would be charge for the hole week. The employee told me i should had received a paper the the rule and price of the car. I NEVER RECEIVED IT. the only paper i received was the red booklet and the car look over. I understand that i needed pay for the 5 day but not 3 times the amount i agree on. Management wasnt trying to hear it she just kept tell me it was in the initerary watch i never received, im thinking shes talking about the red booklet the hole time. untill another employee told me about the initerary . Mean drove with out on and it i would have got pull over ,it wouldn't had been BAD!!!Not very happy.

The rudest customer service I have ever experienced in my life. The so called manager came to "educate me" because I was 6 minutes late after closing and they were gone when my delayed flight arrived. They canceled my reservation, gave the car to someone else without bothering to call. She was talking over me, interrupting and raising her voice. I ended up walking away and going to Hertz. Never ever ever again!

I had a reservation for this weekend, August 16-18, and when we got here Friday evening to pick up the car they had rented them all out! they had no idea when one would come in. but we had a reservation!!!! it didn't matter. we will never rent from dollar again.
