Interstate Park is a very nice place for family and friends, offering plenty of space to enjoy. It functions as a sports complex with ball fields for kickball, baseball, and other sports, including adult charity leagues. The park features a good playground, clean restrooms, and plenty of areas for picnics. It is dog-friendly, requiring leashes. The park also provides good access for paddling on Fourche Creek. Some visitors note the park needs work and that there can be a lot of trash in the river, especially after rain.
