MacArthur Park is a beautiful and clean park with a vibrant and rich history, including connections to the Korean War and President Roosevelt, and a unique monument. It is very well taken care of, with a romantic and relaxing atmosphere for a night walk, which is very well lit. The park offers wonderful fishing in a nice pond, plenty of walking paths and space, and a playground that is safely built. It is a very dog friendly park with a dedicated dog park, ample room for dogs to run, and water buckets provided. There are ample places to sit and picnic areas. The park is listed as tobacco free. Visitors note that the bathrooms are not too sanitary and advise leaving after dark, as there can be homeless people camped out and illicit activity at night. Overall, it is a pleasant and cool place to enjoy, play, and make new friends.
