Splash Pad is a great, free place to take kids on a hot day to cool down and combat the blazing sun. It is a convenient summer getaway with a very long slide and a lot of tunnels. The water feels good and it is within walking distance of the River Market and Farmers Market, making it a nice stop after shopping or breakfast downtown. The location is safe with police patrolling. It also has a neat playground area next to it that is really cool. The splash pad itself is not the best in the area, but children are thrilled to run and play there.
Great place to take your kids on a hot day that’s free outside of parking. The negatives is not the splash pads fault. The last time we were there a homeless man walked in the splash pad to cool off and essentially showered (clothes on) while kids were playing. That has only happened to us once.

Water feels good and walking distance from River Market and Farmers Market. Nice time to take the kids after shopping or breakfast/brunch downtown. Safe location and police patrolling as well.
