“My wife and I came to Rock City Running for the first time today after we finished a small race in North Little Rock earlier in the morning.
I’ve been running for about two years and she’s been running for about a year.
Right away I met Brett and asked him his opinion on my current running shoe based on how my foot is striking. He thought my Brooks Ghost 17’s were doing a good job for me.
My wife and I shopped and found a ton of things that piqued our interest…some things we took home with us…some things we left to entice us back to the shop again in the future.
We also stopped and had a great conversation with Bill, the owner. He was a really kind and interesting guy that knows how to make a mean cup of eggnog! I enjoyed visiting with him about running and just the history of his time in business.
I don’t know why exactly I’ve decided to enjoy running..but I know that places like Rock City Running…kind…warm…welcoming places sure add something special to this pursuit.
Go see them. I’m glad we did and we look forward to going back soon.”
“It’s a great place to go for many reasons. You can take your dog on a rainy day to walk, learn about some amazing history in the museums, go to WOW, or shop for a variety of items. The glasses counter will clean your glasses for free. Get your knife sharpened. Check out some top of the line firearms and equipment. It’s nice to see an item in person before purchasing it. There’s usually good clearance items and sales. Being a club member is a good way to rack up points if you go a lot. They also hold club members events. The Christmas lights are beautiful. I’ve got great memories with my family at Hemingways for birthdays.”
“Came here on the search to get fitted for a new driver. I called ahead and spoke to a friendly lady named Lisa. She was extremely nice and helpful. She set me up to get fitted with Taylor. He was polite, easy going and most of all professional. We tried out a handful of drivers and were able to get me locked into one. You can tell he’s been doing this for a while. The best part of this experience was there was zero pressure on being forced into buying anything. I’ll be doing all my golf shopping here from now on. Customer service was awesome! 100% Recommend ⛳️ ?️”
“On the outside, it seems too small to have anything you might need. On the inside, it’s like the TARDIS of hiking and camping supplies - way bigger than you expected, and filled to the rafters with everything outdoors. The staff it helpful and friendly, and you can buy the things you see today and drive away with it rather than wait for [evil internet source] to ship 2-3 days. Prices are good. Location is easy to find. You might get challenged by parking on Kavanaugh, but this is worth the trip.”
“It is a good place to get all of your Arkansas gameday apparel as they have plenty to choose from, at reasonable prices too. Everything is great quality, and the workers are very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. It's a great AR store! Go Hogs Go!”

“In a world today where customer service is hard to find, I want to really brag on Leah from Famous feet the outlets! She went above and beyond, noticing a spot on the shoes before we purchased them, and Leah, checked for another pair and when she figured out that was the last pair she cleaned the shoe and by this time it was already past at closing time! Most wouldn’t even have mentioned the spot and punched us out the door, but she did not and made us feel she was happy to do it!”

“I had a really good service experience. I was in there just shopping for gloves for my seven year old. They did have a sale on most items going at this time. A 50% off on Columbia and I believe it was 20% on the other brand. I was directed to where the youth gloves were and they had them all separated by brand (north face, Columbia, etc) and how warm you needed them to be. I purchased a pair of gloves and found out when I got home they were too big. In the warmer gloves, there wasn't a huge selection of sizes. So I returned them to the store. They really didn't have what I was looking for (because of her size). I didn't really want the mittens but the gloves with the fingers. It's a small store and it looked like it had a good selection of different things but again I was only looking for gloves. Since I didn't see anything I was going to return the gloves for a refund but the lady at the counter told me to just try the mittens because there really aren't gloves my daughters size with the individual fingers and if I saw some somewhere else I could always return them. She wanted me to at least have something for hands rather nothing. So I went ahead and exchanged them but realized that in doing so I changed the brands of gloves I was exchanging for. Instead of charging me the difference for the gloves, she made it an even exchange which I thought was really nice of her. So although these gloves were not at the same sale price, I got them for the same price as the Columbia gloves that were 50% off. I would definitely return to shop because i really liked the service.”
“This is a great shop. Small compared to a big box store but they have a huge selection. I felt they had better prices than their big competitors. Even being late baseball season, they had a large assortment of gloves and bats. Several bats marked half off. Staff was super helpful but not overbearing. They really got me out of a jam! We forgot my son's Carolina Blue belt and they had one in stock for $6.50!! We are not from Little Rock, but we will definitely return next season to shop! I encourage everyone around the Little Rock area to give them a chance before you go to the big box chain stores!!!”
“Visited this athletic apparel store during a trip to the Little Rock area. The store was clean, well-stocked, and the staff we encountered were all friendly. The store does offer some good prices on the apparel and footwear that they offer and you can get additional discounts and earn rewards by signing up with Under Armour and using the app. It is smaller than some other locations I have visited but they still have the same sections of the store. Not a bad place to get athletic apparel.”
“AMAZING LADIES!!! My sports bra broke as soon as I got out of my car to go to spin. Everyone there helped me find a perfect sports bra in less than 5 mins! These ladies know their stuff, can’t wait to go back ?”
“Very nice lady that runs the store, always very helpful. She didn’t have the size jersey I was needing but ordered it for me to be in the store in a few days. Probably the only store in this area you can find soccer jerseys for English football teams. Also had many other countries jerseys as well. Check this local business out soccer fans!”

“I love this location. I placed an online pick-up order nearly at close last night. Early this am I received an email that my order was ready! I arrived at the store and was immediately greeted/welcomed in by a young man. A second man directed me to the drive thru pick-up area where he helped me load my order, in the rain. No fuss. I ordered a racket using a site called I swap and ordered the wrong racket. I called up the tennis shoppe I spoke with a young man named Bryson, who is extremely helpful and helped me order the right racket. They have already shipped my racket that should be here within a couple of days. Their prices are extremely competitive and they were one of the few businesses that had the racket I wanted and it was not on back order. Thank goodness for Bryson and the tennis shoppe! I would highly recommend them based on their pricing and their customer service.”
“Great store! Wonderful staff. They're always standing/working waiting to help. So many different varieties of clothing or sport items. Awesome shoe department as well. The only downside is I wish the backpacking section was larger with more variety of tents, sleeping bags, ultra light options, freeze dried food options etc.”
“The people that work here are absolutely amazing. We were going to Bass Pro to shop and got a flat tire on the freeway pulling in. We went inside to buy a wrench, and David (Bradford Marine employee) immediately offered to help us. He had us pull our vehicle into the bay. He and the other employees graciously changed our tire over to the spare we had. This type of unwavering kindness is rare to come across in this day and age. We are thankful for these people tonight and will for sure be going here for any boat needs we have in the future.”
