The UALR Bookstore is owned by Barnes and Noble. It is helpful and fast, with friendly staff and the books needed for class. It is a good place to buy school stuff, snacks, and local items. However, it is frequently described as super expensive. Some negative experiences include a staff member with a nasty attitude, mistakes with orders, and items not being in the system for purchase. Parking can be difficult to find. It also has limited weekend hours during the start of a new semester, which some find inconvenient.
The one guy had a nasty attitude even when I was nice at first. After him not understanding, I end up getting an attitude back. People need to have a better positive attitude in their workplace.

Friendly and helpful. Did not receive the tax weekend break on a $300 book and a mistake happened with an order. But they have the books I need for class, friendly staff, and local.
