“Great little place. Clean, the merchandise prices are high as well as the gas and Diesel prices. There is quite a bit of merchandise in the store. There is a lot more than you would think for a quick stop. It is more like a small truck stop with no truck parking. It is good that they have a lot of merchandise because it is the ONLY place to shop around. MOST of the people who work there are kind and friendly. A couple of them have a little personality problem. Sometimes they all rather stand around and talk instead of take care of business.
The laundry, while clean, is TERRIBLE half of the washers and dryers don't work and this is all the time not just part of the time. It is in the middle of nowhere, so you gotta take what you got. I moved here last year. Not one of my better ideas. However most of the people are great. Most of the people in this small town are friendly.
If you stop by, take a trip down main street and check out the fake old- times town they have here in Plainview. It is just a couple blocks down from the Superette. I think it is kinda cool.”
“Helpful Staff, Very Clean and Organized Facility. This Dollar General was recently remodeled. The new construction seems to have at least doubled the business's previous size. This has allowed for a larger amount of available products.The only issue I have with the new arrangement of the store would have to be the self check out kiosks. Eventhough they are only a few weeks old, there ALWAYS seems to be 1 that is out of order, and the the other will not allow you to pay with cash, nor allow you to get cash back when using your card. Because the store is now twice as big, and the number of employees working at any given time has not increased, you have to wait until an employee returns to the register or go find one.Overall, it is a nice place to shop locally, just leave a couple minutes in your plans for that inevitable wait time, Especially if you're in a hurry.”
