“I cannot say enough good things about Roy and the team at Shawnigan Garage. I was in a bind with my car that needed more work done than I could really afford and they went substantially out of their way to see they stayed as close to my budget as possible and still got everything done that needed to be. I am so beyond grateful for all of their help and couldn't recommend them strongly enough. My family and I will be coming to them for everything car related, knowing we will get the best service and care.”
“Jao and team are great. It's nice to see renovations taking place on the site. Have to mention as well that this is the CHEAPEST GAS on the lower island (usually 7-9 cents cheaper than Victoria). Glad to have this gas station on my commuting route; always stop when I need fuel.”

“Busy but good as always, using the almost 8 cent lower price and cibc coscto card you get 3% cashback which is higher than 10 cents off on eso pumps with PC cards, Average effective cashback is around 13 cents with coscto.Not worth a long drive, is 7 mins away from me so I don’t mind.Longer wait but works out.”

I feel everything & it’s hard to explain some feelings anyway this gas station was on episode nine of “Maid” Now I searched Washington state(Where the gas station is suppose to be I blve) but I guess the filming was in Canada but this is a gas station that was on episode nine of “Maid” That is so awesome! A Volcano Wash (basically, all of the fixings) is $17.99 and you don't have to worry about harsh/unclean brushes scratching up your ride. It's not perfect either, but our black car came out just fine, with bird droppings and excessive wheel dust all removed.The only thing I didn't know (it's me or the machine) is that when going through the dryer at the end, if one backs up a little - I saw 60 seconds left and wanted to dry more of the front of my car - it turns off the dryer immediately. Evidently, I should have kept moving forward :)”

“This is what all neighborhood stations should be. I needed a big socket at work, my guy didn't show up, so I borrowed it from the service station! No problem, found the socket and rachet and let me borrow it. Didn't even ask when I'd bring it back. That's trust In your fellow man woman in my case, I did leave a deposit but it never would have replaced the tools.So niebourhood stations are there for you the shell and esso stations won't even let you borrow a gas can.”
“Nice clean convenience store. Pretty spacious and plenty to choose from. Very accessible location coming up Island Hwy. Right across the Holiday Inn so very convenient to get snacks and drinks.”

“I was here yesterday, the staff was friendly and the store was clean! It's ridiculous that some are leaving negative reviews on a gas station, demanding minimum wage workers be fired, really? It's gas station, not a Michelin star restaurant! We should be grateful that the Chevron in Sydney still exists, and has not be converted into a condo building.”

“This is just another gas station in Mill Bay. It is interesting how there is the Co-op gas station diagonally across the street and the price difference sometimes can be 20 cents diff. But usually this Shell is slightly more expensive than Co-op. It is attached to a convenient store. The convenient store does have some groceries items such as milk and cheese. There is also an ATM machine inside if you need some cash. It is also beside a few fast food restaurants such as McDonald or A&W.”

“I limped in with a flat tire today and needed to change it in the parking lot in the middle of a snow storm. I went inside to see if they sold gloves, the person that had just finished their shift stopped and made sure I was ok and gave me their personal gloves. Words can't express what that gesture meant.”

“I like the renovation. Very clean and coffee from the back bistro is amazing. What I don't like are the girls and guys selling car polish at the front door. If I want car polish, I'll go to Canadian tire. I have to dodge their sales when all I want is gas, which makes me want to go to another gas station. Regular staff are great.”
“Nice Shell gas station it’s our first stop when arrive in Victoria to buy some water and snacks. Store inside is very organized and clean very pleased to visit. Staff is friendly and love to help with any needs. catch vintage car parking here too maybe from residents near here. Very calm and harmony community. Not busy too so can always get your gas fast no wait time whatsoever.”
