“I always keep an eye out for Zatarain rice and when I did an online search Discovery Foods Willow Point was listed as a place to try. I sent an email and received a reply by the next morning letting me know they only had the Zatarain Jambalaya in stock. Along with the message was a photo of the box. The message also stated that if I couldn't make it to their store they could send it to the Oyster River store for pick up. Thank you to Willow Point for being so considerate. I did stop there today and purchased all six boxes they had on the shelf.”
“This store has the best customer service and most friendly and knowledgeable staff.
I went in the other day for specifically gluten free items and was handed a tailored list of all items in the store. ( I should have written down the name of the person I interacted with because they were amazing)
No matter who is working is always helpful, friendly and knows their stuff.

“Great store to shop at and they had what I needed. Only constructive critism I would suggest, when there are long line ups at the till. I would instruct the employees walking around the store sweeping to put down the broom and help out.”
“I’ve been eating at Katie’s since the early 2000’s. It’s the first place I ever tried sushi, in fact. I’ve eaten a lot of sushi in a lot of different places since, and Katie’s still stands out. The food is consistently good and still a great price. The owners have always been kind to me.
I don’t live in CR any more, but I always make a point to eat here (several times, lol) when I come to town to visit!”
“I travel north to south island and back frequently. Duncan Bay General Store has the best fried chicken on Vancouver Island, hands down. It's better than Chicken 649 or Thunderbird in Victoria. There are some poor reviews here, but all of my experiences have been excellent. Maybe I just have the timing right for arriving when the chicken and mojos are fresh?”
“This Save-On-Foods is a reliable spot for groceries, with a good mix of fresh produce, bakery, deli, and everyday essentials. The store is clean and organized, and staff are usually friendly and helpful. Prices can be a bit higher than some competitors, but the quality—especially in produce and meat—makes up for it. The pharmacy inside is convenient if you need prescriptions or quick health items while shopping. Parking is easy, and the location is central, so it works well for a full weekly shop or just grabbing a few things.”

“Attended Superstore on October 16th to purchase Halloween candy and decor. I asked for assistance at the self checkout to redeem a gift card. The attendant was very helpful and ultimately had to involve her manager who was equally helpful. Both went the extra mile when a piece of tape attached to the gift card peeled the barcode off so it wouldn’t scan. The manager was able to solve the issue and enter the code manually. Both were very patient, professional and kind when dealing with the issue. Their attitude was very much appreciated.”
