“I wish i could give this place 5 stars as i really wanted to. The head pharmacist is amazing and as i got such great service there despite their early closing time i had my dr send them the prescription i needed filled. When I was running out of medicine i showed up to pick it up and there was a womam working that i had never seen before. She wouldnt give me my Psych medication cuz it had been about 5 weeks since my Dr had sent in my prescription. WHAT? Never had that happen before with.my old pharmacy. I have since had my doctor send them back to my old pharmacy. I liked this place and really wanted to give them my business but the stress this incident caused me wasnt worth it. I really NEEDED that medication...it was a 3 month dose...and to be told they wouldnt sell it to me cuz the prescriotion was sent in too long ago? I was so mad i was crying.”

“I love Cridge Pharmacy and have been going to the Fort Street location since they opened. The owner, Jason is amazing; however, I don’t often see him anymore as he has become more operationally focused as his business has grown. Patrick, who has been at Cridge since earlier days is also amazing and I trust the care he gives me explicitly. I have found it challenging to transition my care from him to any of the new staff members as I am used to Patrick. From time to time, I will also go to the Cook Street location as the pharmacist Chris is fantastic, too. Simply put, Cridge — regardless of the location — provides excellent care.”

“I switched from Shoppers and is the grass ever greener with Thrifties! They are knowledgeable, accommodating, kind, efficient, quick and caring; everything Shoppers greatly lacked. The hours may be more constrained however as much as I don’t want them to get more popular, this small pharmacy is more productive than one ten times it's size. People make a business and Grace and everyone else there are truly good human beings. It's something rare in this overtaxed and stressed Healthcare system to turn out gems such as these.”

Check out Heart Pharmacy Group if you or a loved one needs a little help! The pharmacy has a good range of wound care supplies and friendly staff to fill your prescriptions. The store also has a cute little gift section with unique products you won't see anywhere else.”
“My vet had ordered special medicine from Victoria compounding pharmacy for my pet mouse. It really helped, but eventually after a couple weeks she took a turn for the worse. I had ordered another course of medicine to pay for and pick up, and when I went in and told them she had passed they said not to worry about it. It wasn’t cheap medicine by any means, and that kind gesture meant so much to me, as well as their ability to supply specialized medicine that my vet had requested. Wonderful service, and very kind and generous people. Also lovely location with interesting curios and antiques from bygone pharmacy days. Would give more than 5 stars if I could ??❤️”

Bakery hit or miss. Erratic quality for Birthday Cakes but it really varies depending who is working.

Unfortunately he is being forced to get his methadone prescription from the Cridge Family pharmacy by Dr.Fiona Scanlan and Dr.Gillian Wiwrachuk. THey take $20 per methadone prescription kicback.”

“Save on as been 1 of my favorite grocery stores for a long time they did something for me when I lived in Parksville i won't ever forget they actually delivered a package of pork chops to my house when I got my pork chops home from the store and they were bad and I had planned a dinner party that night so they sent someone with a new package to my house immediately and no charge!
so ever since then I've liked shopping at Save-on their prices could be a little better but their specials are usually really good so shop the flier the staff is very friendly and helpful has been my experience also”

“Rexall’s a pretty solid spot overall. They’ve got a good range of hygiene products, medical prescriptions, and supplements — basically everything you’d expect without any hassle. The staff are chill and let you do your thing, which I appreciate compared to some other places that can be a bit too pushy trying to sell you stuff you don’t need. It’s an easy, no-stress place to grab what you need and go”
