“I love Cridge Pharmacy and have been going to the Fort Street location since they opened. The owner, Jason is amazing; however, I don’t often see him anymore as he has become more operationally focused as his business has grown. Patrick, who has been at Cridge since earlier days is also amazing and I trust the care he gives me explicitly. I have found it challenging to transition my care from him to any of the new staff members as I am used to Patrick. From time to time, I will also go to the Cook Street location as the pharmacist Chris is fantastic, too. Simply put, Cridge — regardless of the location — provides excellent care.”

“My vet had ordered special medicine from Victoria compounding pharmacy for my pet mouse. It really helped, but eventually after a couple weeks she took a turn for the worse. I had ordered another course of medicine to pay for and pick up, and when I went in and told them she had passed they said not to worry about it. It wasn’t cheap medicine by any means, and that kind gesture meant so much to me, as well as their ability to supply specialized medicine that my vet had requested. Wonderful service, and very kind and generous people. Also lovely location with interesting curios and antiques from bygone pharmacy days. Would give more than 5 stars if I could ??❤️”
“Akiko was so kind and helpful! I was visiting from the U.S. and woke up with a UTI. My insurance told me I’d have to go to urgent care to get a prescription for antibiotics. Thankfully, I had a hunch that here in Canada, a pharmacist might be able to prescribe simple drugs without an expensive visit to urgent care. Turns out they can! I called View St. Pharmacy, and Akiko said she could help right away. I was so grateful. I was in and out within 30 minutes for $43 ($20 for the consultation and $23 for the Rx). “Booked my Covid and flu vaccination shots here as it is right next to the primary care clinic. The station with nurse/ vaccinator situates right by the pharmacy entrance. There are a couple seats on the side for patients to wait out their 15minutes post vaccination. The nurse is friendly and knowledgeable on vaccines, also able to answer my questions about record keeping.I find the signage to check-in confusing. At first the nurse was busy so I didn’t know if I should wait and check in with her or with pharmacy receptionist.”
“This pharmacy is great. My boyfriend lives in supportive housing. He tried to get his methadone prescription here. Unfortunately he is being forced to get his methadone prescription from the Cridge Family pharmacy by Dr.Fiona Scanlan and Dr.Gillian Wiwrachuk. THey take $20 per methadone prescription kicback.”
“Great store chain! We were travelling and stayed nearby for a few days, and this store was a lifesaver! The prices are pretty good and the products are awesome. Specifically, the meat is of unimaginable quality!!! We bought minced beef, and it was delicious; we could actually feel that it was different from the usual Vancouver store-bought minced beef. I Would definitely recommend it for anyone travelling through the area!”

“I pleaded for a Pfizer vaccine but they insisted on the Murderna shot ; making the false claim " all the shots are the same". I said it's just like Halal meat the product is NOT all the same its how its produced. They seemed to understand my analogy but insisted on Murderna. “I have always had great experiences here while having prescriptions filled and sometimes buying other items. The staff are friendly and the store seems to be well-stocked. I recently overheard a conversation between the pharmacist and a woman getting her prescription filled where the woman was being quite rude (didn't mean to eavesdrop--she was loud enough the entire store could hear her). The pharmacist was so patient and professional with this woman, despite the pharmacy not being responsible for her issues.”
