“I love Cridge Pharmacy and have been going to the Fort Street location since they opened. The owner, Jason is amazing; however, I don’t often see him anymore as he has become more operationally focused as his business has grown. Patrick, who has been at Cridge since earlier days is also amazing and I trust the care he gives me explicitly. I have found it challenging to transition my care from him to any of the new staff members as I am used to Patrick. From time to time, I will also go to the Cook Street location as the pharmacist Chris is fantastic, too. Simply put, Cridge — regardless of the location — provides excellent care.”

“My vet had ordered special medicine from Victoria compounding pharmacy for my pet mouse. It really helped, but eventually after a couple weeks she took a turn for the worse. I had ordered another course of medicine to pay for and pick up, and when I went in and told them she had passed they said not to worry about it. It wasn’t cheap medicine by any means, and that kind gesture meant so much to me, as well as their ability to supply specialized medicine that my vet had requested. Wonderful service, and very kind and generous people. Also lovely location with interesting curios and antiques from bygone pharmacy days. Would give more than 5 stars if I could ??❤️”

“The biggest problem with being an isolated grocer with ample, easy parking, and great staff is that you get customers. Sometimes a LOT of customers. Aisle blocking cart leavers, no awareness direction changers, "oh shot, I forgot one thing" express lane users...Store and staff are great. Friendly, efficient and polite. Check you're timing before going.Also: caters to higher end; a million "charcuterie" sliced meat packs, but not a single "pizza meat" pack to be found.”

“Akiko was so kind and helpful! I was visiting from the U.S. and woke up with a UTI. My insurance told me I’d have to go to urgent care to get a prescription for antibiotics. Thankfully, I had a hunch that here in Canada, a pharmacist might be able to prescribe simple drugs without an expensive visit to urgent care. Turns out they can! I called View St. Pharmacy, and Akiko said she could help right away. I was so grateful. I was in and out within 30 minutes for $43 ($20 for the consultation and $23 for the Rx). “Booked my Covid and flu vaccination shots here as it is right next to the primary care clinic. The station with nurse/ vaccinator situates right by the pharmacy entrance. There are a couple seats on the side for patients to wait out their 15minutes post vaccination. The nurse is friendly and knowledgeable on vaccines, also able to answer my questions about record keeping.I find the signage to check-in confusing. At first the nurse was busy so I didn’t know if I should wait and check in with her or with pharmacy receptionist.”

“I switched from Shoppers and is the grass ever greener with Thrifties! They are knowledgeable, accommodating, kind, efficient, quick and caring; everything Shoppers greatly lacked. The hours may be more constrained however as much as I don’t want them to get more popular, this small pharmacy is more productive than one ten times it's size. People make a business and Grace and everyone else there are truly good human beings. It's something rare in this overtaxed and stressed Healthcare system to turn out gems such as these.”

“I pleaded for a Pfizer vaccine but they insisted on the Murderna shot ; making the false claim " all the shots are the same". I said it's just like Halal meat the product is NOT all the same its how its produced. They seemed to understand my analogy but insisted on Murderna. I went elsewhere to get my saline placebo and haven't been sick since 2019. I love Communism. Long live the NDP.”

They are very knowledgeable when it comes to medicines that can interact with other medications that we as patients do not understand, especially if someone is taking complex medication.l”

“I have always had great experiences here while having prescriptions filled and sometimes buying other items. The staff are friendly and the store seems to be well-stocked. I recently overheard a conversation between the pharmacist and a woman getting her prescription filled where the woman was being quite rude (didn't mean to eavesdrop--she was loud enough the entire store could hear her). The pharmacist was so patient and professional with this woman, despite the pharmacy not being responsible for her issues.”

“So we went to thrifty tonight because it was close but some of the reviews worried me. Well don’t be worried they had everything we needed and the staff was working do diligently to restock and keep the store organized. The young man that helped us in the meat department was very helpful even though it wasn’t his department and was covering for someone else. The produce was fresh, large selection of meats and the staff was helpful. I found no reason to give this grocery store less than 5 stars.”

“The first time I came here was to get one of my booster shots for Covid-19. I got an appointment the same day I got the phone call to book. Came down, got my shot, and at the same time they asked if I would consider making them my primary Pharmacy. Previously, my primary was at a major drug store, and I had countless frustration experiences with them, leading to no reason to feel loyalty to stick around. I accepted and within minutes they transferred all my history to their location. It was one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. I can walk in and ask them to fill a refill, and it'll be done in 5 minutes, whereas at my old pharmacy, I would call them ahead of time, ask them what time would work best for them, for me to pick up my refill, be told a few DAYS later, and then STILL be told I need to wait up to an hour to get my refill. Definitely highly recommend.”
