“Cutest bookstore with a great selection of new and used books, including representations of indigenous authors. I’ve grabbed a handful of books to help with my school studies and found some gems here! Amazing collection of vintage children books, - so nostalgic to see some classics I grew up with. Shop owners and staff are friendly and very helpful. It’s my go to bookshop + they have other accessories and trinkets.”

“I was staying in Pitt Meadows to visit some BC friends, and found this place while out exploring on September 9th. Honestly wish I'd had a chance to go back. The employee on thay day was very nice, and I appreciated that he greeted me and then just left me to look around instead of asking questions and trying to make conversation while I walked around, like most retail employees do. I just wanna quietly enjoy some books sometimes and this was a great place to do that. Definitely will have to go back next time I'm in BC.”

I was pleasantly surprised by how soon I could receive them; indeed I walked out with one, plus an impulse purchase. Very pleasant and conscientious staff and a lovely selection.”
“Great little store. The moment you walk in you're welcomed. The two women working today (Sunday) allowed us to walk around with the copper bracelets on to decide if we wanted to purchase them or not. (We did). The longer we stayed the more we bought. Pricing was fair. Not cheap but wasn't expensive either.
Lots of books and journals to choose from. Incense and candles aplenty. You definitely wont leave empty handed.

“Stumbled across this shop today, on Free Comic Book Day! What a great store, very well organized, no funky smell, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A lot of great board games and table top accessories.
Plus they had the largest selection of Free Comic Books I have ever seen! And Iv’e been to some in much larger cities and they put those to shame. I forgot to count but it seemed like at least 40 titles, plus they even had out some card packs! Can’t wait to go back.”

“I don't buy Korean books often, but when I bought them in the past, I had to buy them from US. Buying them directly from Korea is very difficult as I do not have any Korean identification.
After Han Kang received the Novel prize, I had to read her books in Korean, and I accidentally discovered this store.
They ordered books they don't have in inventory to Korean publisher, and they shipped them to me in timely manner.
When Canada Post went into strike, they quickly switched to UPS and shipped the books to my home.
I will definitely buy more Korean books from this store in future.”

“I have lived in this neighborhood for decades and have visited many alternative bookstores in the area, including this location. For many years, my experiences here have always been positive, but today’s exceptional experience truly made a lasting impression on me.
I had an issue during a purchase where the situation itself was no one’s fault, but I was understandably upset. Aaron, the store manager, immediately de-escalated the situation through his professional, respectful, and genuinely friendly approach.
He took the time to listen to me, showed genuine empathy, and explored every possible option to help resolve the issue. In the end, he was able to find a solution that I was very happy with. However, what impressed me most was that I am certain I would have felt equally satisfied even if he had not been able to resolve the issue. His willingness to listen, understand, and treat me with respect made all the difference.
Throughout the entire experience, I felt respected and welcomed by Aaron and by all the staff members. That level of customer service is something I truly appreciate and will remember.
Even if it means paying a few extra dollars or driving an extra mile to come here, this Chapters will now be my first choice. Thank you to Aaron and the entire team for making what could have been a frustrating experience into such a positive and memorable one!”
