“If you are ever through Courtenay and you get a chance to stop at Blue Toque Sports, please stop in. You will not be disappointed. They have pretty much every bit of sports gear you want or need. All of it is priced so reasonable.
We first went there 3 years ago when my daughter started hockey and we managed to outfit here for just over $100.

“After boycotting 'the big thrift store' for gouging us on prices (and taking away the changing rooms), I stopped into Lake Trail Thrift. After 3 visits I finally met the owner. He explained the $2 price tag (on everything in the store) is his way to support those in the community that desperately need it. I'm converted. I'll be shopping (and donating) there first before any other places and will be putting a little extra in the jar to help keep the lights on.”
