He had tore a nail, and it was bleeding, so I needed it cut so as not to create more damage. They were very helpful and got him in within a couple hours and got the longer nails trimmed back. I will use them in the future whenever his nails need done

I honestly can’t put into words how much of a life-changing moment today was for us. My dog, Rose, had double TPLO surgery on her back legs when she was only a year old. Ever since that recovery, she became incredibly reactive and aggressive whenever anyone tried to touch her paws.
For three years, we’ve been stuck in a heartbreaking cycle: ❌ Groomers turned her away because of her reactivity. ❌ Vet offices couldn’t even get them done without total sedation. ❌ Constant stress and worry that her overgrown nails would snag or rip.
I reached out to Kendra at Shaggy Wags as a last hope. I was so desperate to stop putting Rose through the trauma of sedation just for a basic nail trim.

With my partner holding her still, Kendra had Rose’s nails perfectly cut in under two minutes. I was stunned! But the most beautiful part? As soon as it was over, Rose went right back to loving on Kendra like nothing had happened. ?
After three years of stress, sedation, and constant concern for Rose’s safety, I finally don’t have to worry anymore. Kendra’s calm confidence and skill with dogs who are aggressive about their paws is unmatched. She is officially my only go-to for grooming services! ??

I’m staying with a friend and beginning my return drive to California tomorrow. My dog has been struggling with the long days of driving. The vet was able to fit me in for a same day appointment to enable prescribing medication. They used fear-free methods and let Ohana set the pace of the exam. Dr. Mathieu prescribed medications which I will be able titrate to make sure Ohana will be comfortable on the way home; and we had a lovely chat about the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito, California. I couldn’t be happier!

I live 45 minutes away and they worked with me to get my dog the help she needed! They were absolutely amazing the entire time, right from my first phone call, all the way through the visit to their office! We were super happy and impressed with everyone there!

A few people at our table shared dishes and they were kind enough to split the dishes in two before bringing it to the table. The Korean bowl & Burger were excellent!

3339 British Columbia 3 &, BC-95, CranbrookI cant say enough good things about these ladies at the SPCA. The care they provide for these animals is top notch. They know each one so well and are always able to make the best suggestions to suit each family. You can tell how much they value their jobs and in turn these animals- we will forever be grateful for them matching us with our Olly girl and for everything they do for the community ? adoption fees may seem steep these days but our cat was set up with everything she needed to start fresh (including an expensive dental bill).
