“Both my daughters were with me today. Together we decided shopping for fresh berries and vegetables was a fabulous way to spend the day. Emma Lea farms has ice cream Sundays, shakes, soft serve or hard, you're choice. Outside seating is perfect for a coffee break. Fresh flowers and eggs are also available. In the freezer; an assortment of farm fead meats and poultry are ready to take home. All of the farms on Westham Island keep our community thriving. "Farm to table" is by far the best way to feed your family.”

“This is my second year buying berries at Didar. I have to drive quite a distance from my home to get there, and it's worth it! The berries are big, ripe, flavourful and beautiful. Best of all, out of 60 pounds I had just one teaspoon of green berries to discard. So every single pound I bought is 100% usable.Did I mention the people working/selling the berries? Helpful and delightful.”

“Even if it doesn't have as big of a selection as bigger chain grocery stores, I find myself coming here much more often. It's close to home and the staff is friendly. The quality of the meat is really good, and their produce section usually has a good selection. They have all the basics that I regularly need.One time I came in looking for dried chives, the manager or owner (I assume) came over and offered to help me look. When he realized that they did not stock chives, he ordered some on the spot. And now they should be stocking chives! It is nice to have that kind of local connection you wouldn't find at bigger stores.”
