“Initially looking for storage only, but came across this company which also offered moving service as well. Researched a lot of companies and Let's Get Moving gives you the best competitive rate and storage. Ended up saving more than I would rent a storage unit and move myself.
Definitely recommend! Just double check on the charge and keep track of the time that was spent on the move

“We had to get storage for my dad's apartment as he passed away unexpectedly and we had limited time to get his stuff out. Public storage staff on Scottroad Lucas and Niya (I don't know if I am getting names right sorry) were very accommodating and helpful as we needed to postpone our reservation by a day and changed the size of storage space needed. They also were very informative and made sure we knew pricing so that we could make the best decision for ourselves when it came to price and knowing all that was expected of us when renting the space. They were both kind and helped us.”

“Storage Mart on East Kent Ave, Vancouver, is great. I ordered a second locker online and phoned them to follow up, and the assistant offered me a similar locker to the one I already own, right next to it - a difference of 8 floors! She was super friendly and efficient in making the necessary arrangements. I have been with them for many years and can recommend. E.g. if you can't make a payment on time, feel free to negotiate with them. They are very understanding and professional.”

“This is my third time with Advanced. I love them. I guess that's a strange thing to say about a storage company, but when you need storage, you really need storage, and it sure is nice when the company is honest, friendly, aboveboard, and affordable, with the great bonus of friendly, competent staff. I had my stuff in here for 5 years previously, and the site is clean and well-kept, with spacious, climate-controlled units. And the people are always so great. The previous guy that I interacted with, whose name I sadly forget, was absolutely wonderful, and I was very happy to discover that the newest staff members are just as great. They go out of their way to make sure that everything is right and that our experience there is a good one. For instance, they noted when I said I was going to start the move in, and when I didn't manage to get there that day, they gave me a call in the evening to see if I wanted them to leave the company lock on the unit or take it off for an early entry the next day. I could give lots of other examples, but it would take too much room. And meanwhile, I got a 5x5 locker for less than half the price that I was quoted at Maple Leaf Storage. There's no downside. I'm a fan.”

“The prices are reasonable and the facility is well-kept with appropriate pest control measures in place. A very no-frills, wood-compartment storage facility. Shelving needs to be done on your own and nothing can be fastened to the walls. Hours are limited regular daytime business-type hours, including on weekends. Without after-hours access without staff on site, this probably helps with security and keeps from having people physically occupying their lockers. CCTV cameras seem adequately sufficient to cover the space, and hopefully are also there to prevent inter-locker theft as some of the units have open tops.
Everyone I interacted with leading up to signing a rental agreement and the week or two following were really nice. Except one time I arrived at 4:52 (closing time is 5:00) on April 7, 2024, I came to run enough items I could carry in my hands to my locker to drop and go. I was out of there by 4:55. The moment I exited my car the staff member on strength at the time ran out of the sliding doors and said in a rather manic tone, “you better make it quick, I’m closing up in 5 minutes. I want to see you run, alright?”. If I was on a military course or being spoken to by my toxic father, I’d find this acceptable and par for the course. But I’m a customer; regardless of what negative experiences you may have previously had, the projection isn’t really appreciated. You could have simply denied me entry and I would have been fine with that, or otherwise reflect on what other communication styles might achieve the same desired outcomes without being condescending or making me feel like I’m being an inconvenience. I said “have a pleasant Sunday” on my way out and this was received and responded to positively. I just find it ironic that the customer is the one that has to employ his toolkit of tact and be nimble with de-escalation strategies, and not the other way around.

“I have been using simply self storage facility in Richmond for the last 2 years. It's a very convenient location in the heart of Richmond. The facility is clean and tidy and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It's very close to the airport as I go to the airport often and so convenient for me. Best part is it's reasonably priced.”

“I got a storage unit that is really big at Annacis Lock-Up. I had 2 large units at UHaul on SE Marine Drive. During the pandemic with people struggling financially, UHaul decided to raise their monthly rates by $10 for each of my 2 units. I got the one at Annacis that could put all the stuff from 2 units into 1 and it saves me $100.00 per month. Staff are great, helpful, and friendly. I am so happy there.”
