“This old store sells beer and wine and the Best Chesters Chicken with battered potato wedges,way better than KFC ,when ever we drive by the area ,always stop for the chicken strips and extra wedges.ask for ranch dip free .busiest country store in the middle of no where i ever seen . “We went here yesterday and the gentleman who was working was absolutely amazing. His customer service, knowledge and overall care was superior to any store I've been in. The prices were a bit high for the quantity you get but you're paying for quality. And in reality I would go back just for the amazing customer service we received ❤️ I only wish I got his name so the owner would know what an absolute treasure of an employee he has working for him. “I dealt with the meat cutter named Cullan yesterday Aug 4-2024. I bought a rack of full size short ribs. Cullan was extreamly knowledgable, didnt try to upsell me and brought out a GREAT pack of ribs. I cooked them on my Treager pellet grill today. Cooked/smoked for 10 hrs at 250°C . This has been the best cook ever on that grill. It was the most tender meat i have ever cooked. A big shout out to Cullan for taking the time to hook me up with a awsone cut of meat. Thanks Cullan !! And all the staff at this locatiin. Every one there is so helfull and friendly. Its always a pleasure shopping there . You guys and gals that work there are awsome. Thanks for always making my shopping experiance a great one !!!!”

You can tell it's a family run business. No don't they are great community supporters and an asset to visitors to this small community.”

“I always have a positive experience here, and that makes life just a little sweeter! The staff are friendly and kind and helpful. They have a great selection of non-toxic, organic items. The prices are fairly high but the quality of most items is much better. I look for the orange stickers, and often find 50 percent off ones, which is a huge help! You also get rewards points for every purchase over 15 dollars, which add up over time and can be used for free groceries. Today I had a wonderful experience in the cosmetic section with Dionne, she was so kind, patient and very helpful, which truly made my day! I continue to come to this store regularly because of my consistent positive experiences. Thanks to all the staff at this Choices that make it a welcoming place with an old-school neighborhood feel!

“Love FreshCo! Always clean and well organized. Very good prices, especially as compared to some of the other stores. Of course it is more functional and less personal in terms of a full serve deli or fresh made bakery. But for me, the prices are great and I don't mind doing deli things elsewhere if necessary. Staff is always very helpful and friendly.”

“I had no interest in going to Bulk Barn until recently when I checked out their website. Going inside the one in Abbotsford, I was very fascinated by what they had to offer. They have kitchenware, a unique selection of bagged snacks, sealed brand vitamin supplements and birthday supplies, including piñatas. As for their bulk stuff, they have a variety of different things, such as candy, cereal grains, coffee beans, cake decorations and pet treats. I was hesitant on buying just anything since those bulk items are stored in flip containers with scoop holes that prevents them from being fresh. I really like some of their discounts, like for their Jameson brand supplements and the $0.99 bags of Halloween candy. I would like to come back to the Bulk Barn again soon to check out their holiday offerings.”

“I like Save on Foods as they are well priced, have good produce and great Deli. This is not my normal location and I find it is not laid out as intuitively as the smaller stores - i think in part because they have a large wine section in the middle to accommodate.”

Slightly higher prices than other places however - such as Walmart. Organic avocados here are $6.99 for 3 and at Walmart they’re $5.99 for 4.
