“I've been wanting to do this for a while now, but I am always heading out to a busy work day after I shop there. The customer service at this location is exemplary! I am a BCL manager by day and have an event bartending biz on the side, so customer service is very important to me. Natasha and the team...including the gentleman with the hat (sorry I can't recall his name atm) are the reason I try to only shop there for my gas and my ice and the occasional tire pressure check? Thanks Natasha and team:) I hope you all see this and know how much you appreciated?”
“Stopped off here for gas before returning my rental car. Price was a little bit higher than what I saw at other station on the highway. Super convenient to pull in and continue forward to put you right back on the highway. Convenient store seemed clean and well stocked!”

“Easy in/out for gas, with no problems so far. I've always been able to redeem PC optimum points, along with filling my car and paying at the pump. It's quick and convenient, with zero interaction required. It's fairly clean here too, with garbage cans being mostly empty and a conscience store nearby. This Esso is a good stop if you're within the Esquimalt area, looking for a quick refill on gas and/or redeeming PC optimum points and/or Circle K coupons.”

“I limped in with a flat tire today and needed to change it in the parking lot in the middle of a snow storm. I went inside to see if they sold gloves, the person that had just finished their shift stopped and made sure I was ok and gave me their personal gloves. Words can't express what that gesture meant.”

“I like the renovation. Very clean and coffee from the back bistro is amazing. What I don't like are the girls and guys selling car polish at the front door. If I want car polish, I'll go to Canadian tire. I have to dodge their sales when all I want is gas, which makes me want to go to another gas station. Regular staff are great.”

“Nice location, always pretty clean, friendly staff. Only real area for improvement is the bathroom. The sink tap is pretty terrible and you have to keep pushing the button literally every 2 seconds to get water. The hand dryer is also quite bad and there is no paper towel. I'm generally not a fan of gas station bathrooms not having a paper towel option; mostly for opening the door.”

“I see lots of 1 star reviews on here regarding the late night staff/ the staff in general. Thankfully I've never had to go inside, as the pumps outside are always fully functional and I never have to talk to anyone. I also never buy gas after dark. So I can't really complain! The fuel is often expensive but that's not really Shell's fault given the current oil situation. Only real complaint is there's no actual parking spots if you want to shop inside, but you can just stay parked at the pump so not a big issue there. Never had a bad experience here myself!”

“Right now with Shell having 3 different ways to get a discount and pounts and for deisel prices are higher than ither stations so im coming here now. I save 6 cents at the pump plus i get movie points plus my credit card gives me 2% cash back. . I also use the premium deisel to help get better fuel mileage. About 100 km farther per tank than reg fuel. So the savings pays for the better feul so to drive 100 km is 12 litres of fuel so im saving about $30 per tank if you look at it this way . Is better than 6 cents . It works out im saving 25 cents per litre using the better deisel fuel . I shouldnt tell this as it could raise the cost of the premium. But if they do that ill buy a gas engine or electric lol”
