“Jao and team are great. It's nice to see renovations taking place on the site. Have to mention as well that this is the CHEAPEST GAS on the lower island (usually 7-9 cents cheaper than Victoria). Glad to have this gas station on my commuting route; always stop when I need fuel.”

“I've been wanting to do this for a while now, but I am always heading out to a busy work day after I shop there. The customer service at this location is exemplary! I am a BCL manager by day and have an event bartending biz on the side, so customer service is very important to me. Natasha and the team...including the gentleman with the hat (sorry I can't recall his name atm) are the reason I try to only shop there for my gas and my ice and the occasional tire pressure check? Thanks Natasha and team:) I hope you all see this and know how much you appreciated?”
“Stopped off here for gas before returning my rental car. Price was a little bit higher than what I saw at other station on the highway. Super convenient to pull in and continue forward to put you right back on the highway. Convenient store seemed clean and well stocked!”
“I would like to take time to appreciate chevron gas stations for their one of the cleanest washrooms across city. This little gas station on Gorge Road is my favourite spot for gas with excellent customer service and friendly staff who always greet you with big smiles especially a young lady works in mornings name Ashu.

“Easy in/out for gas, with no problems so far. I've always been able to redeem PC optimum points, along with filling my car and paying at the pump. It's quick and convenient, with zero interaction required. It's fairly clean here too, with garbage cans being mostly empty and a conscience store nearby. This Esso is a good stop if you're within the Esquimalt area, looking for a quick refill on gas and/or redeeming PC optimum points and/or Circle K coupons.”

“I like the renovation. Very clean and coffee from the back bistro is amazing. What I don't like are the girls and guys selling car polish at the front door. If I want car polish, I'll go to Canadian tire. I have to dodge their sales when all I want is gas, which makes me want to go to another gas station. Regular staff are great.”

“I limped in with a flat tire today and needed to change it in the parking lot in the middle of a snow storm. I went inside to see if they sold gloves, the person that had just finished their shift stopped and made sure I was ok and gave me their personal gloves. Words can't express what that gesture meant.”

“My grandpa went down to this gas station to fill up, but he wasn’t sure how to use his new BCAA membership. Instead of just scanning his card and sending him on his way, the staff took the time to walk him through the process at the pump and explained all the perks he could get in store. They didn’t have to do that, they could’ve just stuck to the basics but they genuinely cared about making sure he got the most out of his membership.
It’s not every day you find a place where the employees go beyond just standing behind the counter. Here, they actually take the time to help, especially with older customers who might not be as familiar with these things.
Thanks to their kindness, my grandpa now goes back every couple of weeks—not just for gas, but to stock up on chocolates and chat with the people who made him feel welcome. ??❤️”
